A plastic pistol shaped toy that shoots slugs of raw potato. Push the barrel into a potato, break off the slug, aim and shoot up to fifty feet. Loads of fun, environmentally harmless, and about as safe as any "projectile" toy can be!! Pulls apart for cleaning. For kids ages 5 and up.

Our aluminum canisters with clear glass pull–off lids are cool. The smallest canisters are aluminum–colored, a set of (20) 1–1/4” dia x 3/4” deep in a 6–1/2” x 5–1/4” x 7/8” lightweight aluminum box with a hinged lid. When the box is shut, a layer of foam padding inside the lid presses down on the canisters, keeping them securely closed. If you need slightly larger canisters, and a cardboard box will work instead of a carrying case, try our colorful display of anodized tins. They are packaged in sets of (12) and come in great assorted colors and are 2” dia x 7/8” deep. Each is an ideal carrying case for paints, many different screws, or other sets of small items or quantities that must remain separate. Prices are per set.

The temples fold to 5" long. 3-D's a lot more fun in these days of the Web: go to www.howstuffworks.com for binocular disparity and rivalry tests, or just Google around to find fun stuff or school optics experiments to use these with.

They call it the "Krazy Cutter" and it's going to make your life a whole bunch easier. It's a little 2-3/8" long x 3/16" thick teardrop-shaped paper slicer with a teensy rust- and dullness-proof ceramic blade that magically cuts through paper and plastic. Perfect for clipping newsprint, cutting wrapping paper, and opening deviously sealed packaging, including the heavy stuff if you press a bit. Even CD cases. The krazy part? Won't cut your fingers or anything else. You could run it right over your hand, press down and everything, and nothing. Really. We tried it on some expendable employees. You know what this means? You can take it on airplanes, which further means that when you get to the coast you'll actually be able to open all the packages full of the stuff you sent ahead.

Let the rest of the world outfit its armies with rockets and tanks. We prefer Switzerland, with its Swiss Army Knife and, now, its Swiss Army Horseshoe Nails. Our each is a box of (100) shiny, flat, steel nails with square beveled heads, each head imprinted with a tiny cross. The #6 nails are 2-1/8" long. The #8s are 2-7/16" long. Even the box is a retro find. Such sticklers for details, these pacifistic Swiss.

We think Whitewings are the best gliders in the air, and these multi-craft kits combine the best of the best. The "Early Gliders" is their Milestones set of (6) historic flying machines: the Wright Flyer; the 1893 Lilienthal glider; the Bleriot X1; the Ryan NYP (Spirit of St. Louis); the Lockheed Vega; and the Douglas DC-3. All are based on the real things that are on display at the Smithsonian. These are approx 10" long with a 12" wingspan, made in card stock and balsa, with a rubber-band launcher and a good 40pp manual.
