It's Monofilamental

Fishing is monofilamental. Which means you need this reel of 370 yards of .016" dia, 15-lb test Eagle Claw® monofilament fishing line. Part of Mike and Joe's Bulldog" Brand Tackle line. Hangs pictures, too, and is right handy for hanging stuff that weighs less than (15) pounds in windows when you don't want to see the wires.

The Auto-Fisherman

Automatic fishing reels (yo-yo reels) are the high-tech version of trot-lines and jug-fishing. This galvanized spring-steel reel is 2-1/2" dia x 1/2" with a 9-foot spool of 60-lb nylon line and a locking bracket. Nail it to a tree, then just set it and forget it. Some persnickety states have laws against these, so best check with your game warden. Our calls to local crappies and catfish were not returned.

Pescanets

Cast a net over these 4" x 3-7/8" tropical fish. The fish-shaped wooden castanets are indispensable if you're a flamenco-dancing marine biologist or a Carmen Miranda fan with a taste for sand dabs. With elastic ties on their beveled tails, they open all by themselves after each great-sounding click, so piscatological flamencoing has never been easier. You get (6), painted in tropical-fishy colors.
