Baby Blue Bottles
Or maybe they're azure. These 2" high, 1-5/16" dia. 1 oz. bottles look a lot like 35mm film canisters, but they have red or green screw caps instead of the hard-to-pry-off caps that film canisters usually have. You can take the lids off these containers without sending map tacks flying across the room. Got a few screws loose? Load your own bulk film? You could use some of these.

Martian Popper Thing
Perennially popular in the stores, the Martian Popper Thing is virtually useless. It is a rather clown-like figure molded from the waist up. About 4-1/2" tall, it is made of air filled latex, sort of like a heavy balloon. Squeeze the orange body and the blue eyes and red ears and nose pop out in a very satisfying manner. Definitely approved as a method for expressing your mood when you desperately want to choke the @!&*! out of someone. Infinitely reusable. Which is a must for most of us!!!

Closed-End Zippers
Some few are closed on one end, like pants zippers, but most are closed at both ends, like the zippers on seat cushions. These richly colored plastic zippers in synthetic cloth, 21" x 1-1/4", might be sewn into pillows or into slinky, hip-hugging dresses. Coax Cable
Good old RG59 coax cable. You know it, you love it, it's what you use to connect your TV to the cable outlet, plus many other vital applications. Black, 6' long, 1/2" dia, both ends are threaded male. A great product, and a lot cheaper than you'll find anywhere else, we dare say.

Compu-holders
Plastic holders which would love to embrace your 3-1/2" diskettes, CD's and even tapes. "Double" comes in teal, white or gray (colors will be our choice) with a transparent lid hinged at the back. Roughly 9" wide x 5" tall x 9", deep it holds (96) discs and has (8) separators. It also locks and has (2) keys.

Flashlight Cones
Yellow translucent plastic cones, 9-7/8" long OA. They were made in China to fit over a flashlight thus turning it into a warning device. They are fine for that if your flashlight has a 2-1/2" dia. business end, the ID of the large end of the cones. The small end of the cones is 7/8" dia., and may have a removable plug of the same plastic. However some of the plugs have wandered off, so the end may be open. Not into signaling?? Use them as traffic obstacles on the play lot, to mark the edge of the volleyball court at the beach, or to protect the lump on your head from rain!!

Mobile Music
Make your portable CD player really portable: take it for a ride with these skip stabilizers. The plastic housing is full of springs that should eliminate skips on all but the worst roads. Plus, each has an adapter that connects your car's cigarette lighter with your CD player. (To hear the music, though, you'll have to order-from us, naturally-a pair of speakers for the player's headphone jacks.) The DC-DC converter by itself would be a steal at this price. Use it for your CDs, or for any small DC appliance: tape deck or perhaps a portable espresso machine? Made by Koss; (2) different ones: 5-5/8" x 6-3/8" x 1-1/4", black. #27640's output is 9VDC at 500 mA; the output plug is 5mm. #27642 is 6VDC, 500mA, with a 3.5mm plug. All (3) take the standard 12VDC input.

Hemostatic Heaven
Hemostats are the clamplike devices dangling from veins and arteries in melodramatic operating scenes. Our particular collection are Pakistani surgical-grade instruments made of magnetic stainless steel. As such we rate them pretty good, but not fantastic. Hemostats look like little pliers. The jaws are relatively fine, with rounded tips. The inside faces are lightly serrated to get a grip on tubing or body plumbing. And the handles are much longer than the jaws. Ratchets between the handles click together to lock the hemostat in a closed position. To release the clamps, push the handles apart at 90 degrees to the plane of the jaws. Now the heavenly part. Great hobby clamps that can be worked into small areas. Fine heat sinks for electronics. Good hook extractors for trout fisherpeople. Excellent tubing clamps for flow-sensitive chemistry experiments. Sizes are approximate length.

Positioner/Holder
A fine concept and pretty successful execution. Weighted bases hold fully adjustable clips and lenses for delicate hands–free work. The Helping Hand w/solder has a 2” high base connected to (2) alligator clips via (3) universal joints and a 4–1/2" sliding beam, and to a 2–1/2" dia roughly 3X magnifier via another universal joint on the sliding beam. It also adds a holder for your soldering iron, plus a hole and thumbscrew in the base to firmly position it. The larger Work Stand has a 3–1/2” x 4–3/4” stand with a 2–3/4” square x 3/8” deep reservoir to hold small parts, an L–shaped sliding beam with (2) alligator clips, and another L-shaped beam with a 3–1/2” lens, about 4X magnification. Joints adjust every which way. The set screws can all be hand–tightened, but we suggest a small pliers to secure the hefty 4X lens. Think of the clips as extra hands to hold wires, components, beads, what-have-you while you perform some operation on them with your own two hands.

Yellow Strapping
Only a mother could love some inventions. And Pat. Pat loves this one because the (2) 64" x 3/4" yellow woven-nylon straps, each with an additional 4" of elastic at one end and an old-fashioned garter buckle at each end, are great for all the usual strapping applications, plus a few more. They were designed to keep sheets from shifting. The hilarious 6-step instructions start with "Attach the head end of the bottom sheet to the foot end of the top sheet...." For a mere $1.75 you can read the rest!
