Test Tube Rack
Blue plastic test tube rack, about 8" long x 2-1/2" wide x 3-1/4" tall OA. It has a plate with (6) holes for full test tubes, the end two being 1-1/16" dia the others 3/4" dia. In front of this are (6) pegs to hold clean inverted test tubes. It of course can be used to hold tools, drying pasta or other, non-lab objects.

Litmus Paper
Chemically treated paper strips to test for acid or base (alkaline) solutions. Use the blue for acids, the red for bases. The more sophisticated pH test paper strip indicates pH from 1 (bright red) to 14 (dark brown). Values in between can be read by comparing with a color chart that comes with the strips. All have (100) strips of test paper per vial.

Plastic Graduates
The Graduate devotee knows the importance of plastic. To fill the need we offer these fine cylinders of the hard milky white polypropylene persuasion, to help you measure out your chemicals. With a large bases for stability and spouts for pouring, they are just like their glass cousins, except these are cheaper and not heat-resistant (each is marked 20° C ?!). The graduation increments and total volume are shown as increment/total in milliliters.

Or gear down-for the science fair or for any number of hobby projects. This hard-to-find set of (3) combination spur/beveled gears-for when you want gears set either straight or at 90° to one another-also has one small spur gear, plus three bushings. All in red, green, or blue plastic (we'll pick). The combo-beveled gears are 1-5/8", 1-1/4" and 27/32" dia with 3/16" bores to accept the bushings, which are 3/16" OD, 3/32" ID. The straight gear is 17/32" dia with a 1/16" half-bore. All are 24 pitch.

Bargain Post-it Notes

No reason to neglect your education while you’re playing blackjack. Just use our special heuristic playing cards and you’ll learn something, even if you do lose your shirt. The Elemental cards are a double deck, (104) cards plus (4) jokers. In addition to the standard playing card values, the decks cover the (up-to-date, 2006) periodic table of elements. Each card includes one element's atomic number, symbol, series, melting and boiling points, period/group, uses, est. atomic weight, standard state, and the element's name in English. The Bones cards are a deck of (52) plus (2) jokers covering the human skeletal system, with names and full-color illustrations, and yes, the four of clubs is connected to the five of clubs.

Used as is, this 10" x 12" dry-erase message board is overwhelmed by a drug advertisement. Break it apart and you reap a cool mini corkboard 2" x 10" with self-sticking tape on the back, a small foam whiteboard eraser for your favorite teacher with "#1" emblazoned on it, (2) 7" long, probably reusable, self-adhesive magnetic strips, and (possibly) a pointed marker. Or mount it as is and just ignore the pharmacopoeial palaver. Try the classroom pack for only .29 each! A great value!

That'd fill this 9-oz ceramic coffee mug with the periodic table of elements printed on the side to about half a cup. It's printed in color on both sides, actually, in case you're left-handed. The atomic numbers and weights are a trifle small, but then they are atomic.

Pens By The Pound
Just like buying salami, except you can't take notes with lunch meat, and these pens cost less than sausage. We bought them in bulk, and we're selling them in bulk. Our each is (2) lbs of extremely assorted, but very nice, ballpoint pens with a gallimaufry of logos and names. For future reference, pens weigh in at approx (50) per pound, give or take.
