Submersible Pumps
Here are the ins and outs of submersible pumps for your DIY fountain.These small electric pumps run on household current (115 VAC), are rated for continuous duty, have (4) suction–cup feet and an adjustable flow control, and take 1/2" ID tubing. Our indoor/outdoor version is roughly 2" sq x 2-1/4", has a 6–ft grounded power cord, and pumps 70 gal/hr @ 1 ft lift. Plug it in and go with the flow.

Micro Bits
And we do mean micro. Sizes #61 to #80 (yes, that is twenty different bits) which are from 0.013 to 0.038 inches diameter!! The big boys sell a set of similar bits (carbon steel, like ours) for about $30.00!! Maybe theirs aren't from China.

Do Not (Fill In The Blank)
We know there's a message in this 12" dia safety sign with the classic slashed circle. It's red and white on reflective, adhesive-backed vinyl, and the graphics mean "Do not put out fire with liquids." Given its limited application, we're more excited about cutting out the white sections and putting the red circle/slash over a photo of our least favorite politician. But hey, if you're on the safety committee, knock your socks off. Just make sure the sign isn't hung upside down. Then it says "Do not let fire rain into your coffee."

Monkey Grip", the company that makes tire repair products for professional grease monkeys, has rolled out this G/GR13 inner tube with a standard TR-13 valve. It fits 13" dia tires on lawn tractors, etc., but it also fits around most lunch coolers - and can save the day if your six-pack goes overboard and lands in the lake.

A really cool mini drill set for your mini projects! The 7-1/4" long aluminum push drill for delicate work comes with (1) 1/16" and (1) 1/32" collet, and (20) bits that fit them. The bits are #61 through #80, some so needle-thin they could add tear ducts to a fashion doll. They come in a mini case marked with the number and size of each bit in mils.

Mark Any Angle
This torpedo level not only indicates dead-on level with its vertical and horizontal bubbles, it has a floating 360° pointer to indicate the angle of any deviation. The 8" x 2-1/8" x 5/8" plastic level has a 5-3/4" long magnet embedded in its bottom edge, a hole from which to hang it for storage, and -- maybe -- some oily residue. The residue, if there, won't hurt it, and is the reason we can offer it at this incredible price. Just wipe it off, and smile.

That's what we say about this drill pump! Screw hoses to the threaded inlet and outlet valves (1" dia. standard garden hose size) and attach the 1/4" dia. shaft to your drill. Turn the shaft and it pumps for you. Great for aquariums, flood plains, waterbeds, maybe even a mechanical straw! Pump is 2-7/8" dia., 4-1/2" long with the in/out valves.

Forget watchmaking, you could write the "A Tale of Two Cities" on a piece of tortellini with this triple magnifier visor. Magnifies from 2.2X to 8X. Has a permanent 2.2X lens, a flip-down lens, and a flip-down loupe. Separate white LEDs at each temple, powered by (2) "AAA"s each which aren't included. The whole thing is in a black plastic visor, 7-3/4" wide x 5-1/4" deep with a flexible plastic strap held by a hook-and-loop closure. Opens to 9" max dia and has coated acrylic lenses. We wouldn't recommend these "earmuffs" for working on the deck of an aircraft carrier, but they're plenty good to protect you from lawn mower, blower, and chain-saw noise or from your average garage band. Foam inserts inside plastic; stretch-to-fit headband, and ear covers that can be adjusted 2-1/2" up or down.
