Real Corks!!
We have obtained a large number of real natural corks, mostly surplus with a few fill-ins bought commercially. They range across the popular sizes used in science labs to seal vessels (drill your own holes for glass tubing, etc) and to use as floats. Or just use them to seal bottles that don't have closures or cry out for a decorative seal.

Soil Test Kits
The budding home scientist and horticulturist will both delight in the ease with which this self contained soil test kit brings discovery. The kit measures not only ph., but also Nitrogen, Phosphate and Potash content and contains material for 40 tests. Since these are the essential ingredients affecting plant nutrition, we see a science project in the making: experimental plant growth in soils with different amounts of acidity and/or nutrients. From Luster Leaf(tm), the kit is entirely self contained and includes complete instructions for use and explanations. Great for chokes, toroids, RFI suppression and much more. Our ferrite cores are attracted to magnets, but are not magnetic themselves. Edges are slightly beveled. 29122 is 1" O.D. x 5/8" I.D. x 1/4" thick. 29180 is 1/2" O.D. x 1/4" I.D x 3/16"thick.

And we do mean micro. Sizes #61 to #80 (yes, that is twenty different bits) which are from 0.013 to 0.038 inches diameter!! The big boys sell a set of similar bits (carbon steel, like ours) for about $30.00!! Maybe theirs aren't from China.

Love Meter
AKA hand boiler. An exotic bit of hand blown glass with a bulb at top and bottom connected by some zippy tubing that spirals, loops, and/or jogs. In the closed system is some colored liquid (methyl chloride) that is very light. Hold the lower bulb in you hand and as the air in the system is warmed it pushes the fluid through the loops to the upper chamber. When all the liquid is pushed out of the lower bulb, expanding air will bubble through the tubing making it appear that the liquid is boiling. WARNING! The glass is fragile and the liquid is nasty. If you drop the thing on e.g. the kitchen tile, it will eat the finish off the tile and the stain in the liquid will permanently stain the floor. So don't let kids handle this item unsupervised. About 7" tall, it is a favorite in our stores.

Anatomical Charts
A collection of 11" x 14" top quality medical charts. They cover topics such as organs: "Eye" or "Skin", systems: "Digestive" or "Female Reproductive" and disease or conditions such as: "Cancer" and "Obesity". They are on heavy coated paper suitable for putting up in, say, a classroom where they would be excellent teaching aids. Most are overruns that are imprinted with the name of a drug at the bottom and were distributed as part of a promotion. A few have misspelling misprints. Because of varying quantities and a horrendous sorting problem, we cannot give you the luxury of picking your favorites from a long list. We also have (2) large (20" x 26") wall charts, One on hypertension and one on the male reproductive system.

Peekaboo Canisters
Our aluminum canisters with clear glass pull–off lids are cool. The smaller canisters are aluminum–colored, a set of (20) 1–1/4” dia x 3/4” deep in a 6–1/2” x 5–1/4” x 7/8” lightweight aluminum box with a hinged lid. When the box is shut, a layer of foam padding inside the lid presses down on the canisters, keeping them securely closed. If you need slightly larger canisters, and a cardboard box will work instead of a carrying case, try our colorful display of anodized tins. They are packaged in sets of (12) and come in great assorted colors and are 2” dia x 7/8” deep.
