LEDs By The Dozen
Light emitting diodes. Solid state devices that provide the ubiquitous power and indicator lights on your electronic gadgetry. Unlike lamps, there are no filaments that glow. Rather, some two volts of DC power at a miniscule 10 to 20 milliamps of current get the chemistry excited, and they just plain emit. Emit is a good word, too, as they don't really cast light, but glow brightly. We have a nice assortment of 3 and 5 MM diameter sizes in red, green, orange, and yellow. The longer lead is always positive, the shorter always negative, and you always need a current limiting resistor (about 500 to 1,000 ohms for 5 to 9 volt DC sources) to keep the current in the 10-20 MA range. If that's Greek to you you're either going to blow a lot of LED's or learn to change incandescent indicator lamps ! !

Compu-holders
Plastic holders which would love to embrace your 3-1/2" diskettes, CD's and even tapes. "Double" comes in teal, white or gray (colors will be our choice) with a transparent lid hinged at the back. Roughly 9" wide x 5" tall x 9", deep it holds (96) discs and has (8) separators. It also locks and has (2) keys.

Bead Heaven
Glass beads, 0.055" diameter!! They are German and are the kind you glue on stuff to make it sparkle or reflective--not the kind with holes. At our price you could do layers in little bottles for really cool thingums!! We have 'em in clear and a whole host of colors. Craft stores sell tubes of these beads for a ruinous $4.00 per tube or about $3.35 per oz.. Well, we don't have the tube so you are going to get a baggie, but you only have to pay $1.00 per oz so jump up and down and clap your hands over such a great deal!! The only thing left is to choose what you need. In case you can't do that, we offer an assortment of (10) packages which will include clear plus at least six (6) different colors.

Flashlight Cones
Yellow translucent plastic cones, 9-7/8" long OA. They were made in China to fit over a flashlight thus turning it into a warning device. They are fine for that if your flashlight has a 2-1/2" dia. business end, the ID of the large end of the cones. The small end of the cones is 7/8" dia., and may have a removable plug of the same plastic. However some of the plugs have wandered off, so the end may be open. Not into signaling?? Use them as traffic obstacles on the play lot, to mark the edge of the volleyball court at the beach, or to protect the lump on your head from rain!!

Make your portable CD player really portable: take it for a ride with these skip stabilizers. The plastic housing is full of springs that should eliminate skips on all but the worst roads. Plus, each has an adapter that connects your car's cigarette lighter with your CD player. Large Rock Polishing Kit
Budding lapidarians will lap up this rock polishing kit which is so complete it even contains some rocks. The polishing tumbler has a (3) lb. ((1) qt.) fifteen sided rubber barrel and is driven by a 115 VAC motor. Overall dimensions are 6" x 6" x 7-1/2" high. In addition to the tumbler, the kit includes an assortment of jewelry findings and a detailed manual giving you easy to follow instructions. But don't think of it only as useful for jewelry making. 'Tain't a toy, McGee. And 'tain't surplus. This digital dB meter from Sper Scientific is pocket-sized--8" x 1-5/8" x 7/8"--and measures sound levels from 32 to130 dB with a built-in 1/2" microphone using (2) "AAA" batteries (included). The resolution is 0.1 dB and it's accurate to within 1.5 dB. Has a built-in calibration oscillator and comes with a foam windscreen and small screwdriver for calibrating.
