Shrink Plastic
Incredible stuff!! And even better than those dinky cutouts you used to make! Our each is a pack of (8) 8" x 10-1/2" shrinking plastic sheets that start clear and stay clear. Draw a design, write a message, create a sign, whatever. Cut it out, bake it in a 350° oven for about 3 minutes, and it shrinks to 45% of its original size. Problem with certain pencils and markers on the slick sheets? Try a light sanding (320-400 grit) before writing on it. (The surface will be more opaque.) What a fun way to make small errors become insignificant!

And chart your offspring's growth on this white-painted wooden wall hanging. It's 44-1/2" tall x 5-14" wide x 1/4" thick (and folds in half for storage) with a decorative three-dimensional group of toys and animals near the top. It has markings at 1/2" intervals on both the left and right sides, so you can track two tykes from 2' 4" to 5' 2", plus (7) oval picture cut-outs (3-1/2" x 2-1/2") with age and date lines for displaying their pics. Yup, another find from Lillian Vernon's warehouse.

Our jawbreaker-sized ball-compass floats in a clear plastic 1-1/8" dia sphere on a 1-1/8" dia suction cup. Big, easy-to-read B&W markings. Meant, we assume, for mounting on the dash of a compact car.

We're using semantic obfuscation to crowd this plastic finger hook into a scientific category. It really doesn't cut it as science, but sure has been a popular novelty in our stores. An embedded 1/2" long wood screw will secure this flesh-colored finger to a rail, the side of a desk, a wall, or the back of a door. It then functions as an amusing hook for towels, robes, coats, tools, or attention. In fact the silly things seem to be beckoning, but we were afraid to call them "come hither hookers" for fear of misinterpretation. When installed, the fingernail, which might look a bit better with a little bright red polish, stands 2" from the mounting surface. Sold in fours because this importer doesn't deal in thumbs.

You say you often need a little extra reminding, or know someone who does? The Motion Memo (aka Auto-Nagger) is a digital recorder that can be set to replay whenever you or anyone else passes within (4) feet of it. It's a silver and blue plastic oval, 4-1/4" x 2-3/4" x 1-1/4" thick, that records a 16-second message. Can also be set to activate a 5-second night light, and comes with a base, a magnet on the back, and (4) likely dead "AAA" batteries. Use it to auto-greet teens arriving home at 3:00 a.m., or put it on the fridge to say "Do you really need another snack, Dave?"
