Twist-Ties Of The Gods
If you had a 10-foot loaf of bread, these would be the only way to close the plastic bag. They're 17" long x 1/2" dia with flexible, plastic-sheathed carbon steel cores, and a layer of medical-grade foam that grips tight even below 32°F, because you might have to fix a hockey goal with them some day. Tie up big tools and cables, make ad hoc hooks, tie down outdoor furniture, organize sports equipment, make emergency repairs, or wrap sails and gear of all sorts (they float and they're bright yellow, so they're easy to see!). We liked the concept so well that we picked up some basic black ones that look and work just like them, but they're surplus, so we don't make any of the other claims. You pick a 2-pack of the giant yellow ties, or a 4-pack of the black ones.

Jumbo Pillbox
So you fill this 7-day pillbox for your husband. It has extra-large, snap-top compartments 1-1/2" x 1-1/8" x 7/8" deep. Big enough for picture hooks on Sunday, so he can hang the new mirror. Carpet tacks on Monday, for the loose runner on the stairs. Rubber washers on Tuesday, for that dripping faucet.... The days are marked on the translucent plastic container in big initials, and the 7-3/8" long cases have rounded bottoms for easy scooping. So you can line up a month's worth of chores, sundry small items...or a LOT of pills!
