Hot Glue Living
No glue gun? You can still turn your excess time into a frivolous (but non-violent) lifestyle. 1-1/4" x 1-1/2" squares of yellow hot-melt glue, made for use in a glue pot, can work with heat sources you may already have on hand, like a candle, lighter or soldering iron. General purpose adhesive suitable for attaching decorative flounces to unsightly workbenches. Dries slightly yellow, choose your color scheme accordingly.

Glue-teus Maximus
These tubes of rubber cement are small (3/8 fl oz each) but with (3) to a pack, you'll have one for the garage, one for the basement workbench, and one for the kitchen junk drawer. Use them for tire patching, and other vinyl and rubber repairs. Keep all (3) out of the reach of children.

Paint It Pink
You just can't have a naked vase or goblet or mirror around, can you? You have to draw swirls and dots and initials on everything. You'll love this 4 oz applicator of pink Window Color that lets you emboss glass or plexiglass. The paint is the consistency of white glue and takes hours to dry, but then it won't wash off. (Although it can, with some effort, be peeled off.) We're glad you're partial to pink, since that's all we have.

Give posters, glasses, maybe sweatshirts (we didn't test it on fabric) a warm GLOW. The goo in the 1/3-oz tube is the consistency of white glue and works just like it, but comes in pastel pink, peach, green and yellow, all of which glow in the dark. It has a narrow writing tip under a screw cap. We'll pick at least (2) different colors for you.

Soldering Gun in a Jar
Wire glue-the solution when you can't find the soldering iron, don't want to bother, are out in the woods, don't quite trust a fifth-grader with a hot gun, can't reach the connection with both hands, whatever. This stuff conducts low voltage AC and DC circuits in a permanent bond and is easy to use. Our high-tech support group suggests that a toothpick is a good way to apply it. Cures overnight. Blue Glue Times Two
The bluer gluer twofer. Get a pair of crafter's glue sticks, (1) 1/4 oz tube about the size of a lipstick, for traveling crafts, and (1) 3/4 oz regulation size. The blue color lets you see where you schmeared it, but it dries clear. Very clever.
