Scary Molds
These white porcelain molds from the balloon industry are, frankly, the scariest medical-looking non-medical items we've seen in a long time. They come in all sorts of sizes, mostly from 5" to 10" long, and a bunch of shapes: rounds, ovals, screws, rods, storks, mouse heads, all on shafts with a threaded end to screw into the balloon machine. They're a surrealist's dream, the answer to an avant-garde sculptor's prayers, and great items to leave in your medicine cabinet for nosy guests to find. Sorry we can't fill requests for particular shapes. It's all we can do to pick out (3) different ones for your package of (5), so try not to make Kathleen feel bad by begging for mouse ears. They're Corkers!
Natural cork, right from those strange trees, in perfect discs and rings. We're thinking pads, gaskets, bumpers, arts and crafts projects, insulators, or all-natural, metal-detector-safe jewelry. You pick from 2" dia discs 1/4" or 3/8" thick; or from 2" OD x 1" ID rings that are 1/4" or 3/8" thick; or 3" OD x 2" ID rings that are 1/4" or 3/8" thick. Note that the Thins (below) are 1/4" thick, and the Thicks (below) are 3/8" thick. Got that?

The $10 Chain Saw
No gas or electricity needed for this pocket-sized manual chain saw, the camper's pal. It's 30" long overall, with (82) spring-steel teeth on the 18-1/2" middle section, and canvas loop handles on each end. Imagine a cross between a sharpened bike chain and a garotte. It's easy to use (we tested it), works a whole lot faster than a hatchet, rolls up into no space at all, and stores in the heavy-duty canvas belt pouch that comes with it.

PET Rope
Well, yes, it will tie up a pretty substantial pet (the working load is 211 lbs) but it's really rope made from recycled P.E.T. (polyethylene terephthalate) plastic bottles, by a small Brazilian community of 380 people. You get 50 feet of 1/4" dia braided monofilament rope, 4X more resistant to UVA/UVB rays than polypropylene. Assorted colors, our choice.
