Stick the remote sensor outside, and the main unit inside within 100 feet of it, and read the clock, calendar, and inside and outside temperatures on the big LCDs. Look, Ma, no wires! Both units are dark gray plastic: the sensor is approx 3" x 3", the main unit a 5" x 3-1/2" x 1-3/16' thick oval. Each will hang on a wall or stand alone on little removable stand. You add (2) "AA" and (3) "AAA" batteries. The main unit includes a min/max temperature memory and (2) programmable alarms. Measures 32°F to 122°F indoors; -4°F to 140°F outdoors. Made by RCA.

The smart folks, like you, will capture it. Our best solar panel, and it's a beauty, measures 37-1/8" wide x 13-5/16" tall x 1-1/8" thick, with an anodized gold aluminum frame and protective corners. Usable in temperatures of -40°F to 140°F, made of amorphous silicon thin film, its initial power rating is 18 W (1.2A output at 15 V). Long-term stabilized power rating is 1A at 14.5W. Resin coated, with 8-foot pos and neg leads. Limited supply.
