Why does Roger always get the credit for the skull and crossbones pirate flag? We feel it is time to share and have elected Barry to the post because he just walked by the vast editorial department here at A.S.&S. (AKA "my desk") Our Jolly Barry flag is 3ft x 5 ft., black polyester with a reinforced edge containing grommets for flying. It has the traditional skull and crossbones in white with the added fillip that the skull is wearing an eye patch! Sail Away!!

Nontoxic, water–reducible acrylic– or latex–based paint sticks to most surfaces and glows in the dark after only a brief exposure to bright ambient light. We have 1/2 oz bottles of acrylic–based yellow/green, 1 oz bottles of acrylic–based in the hard–to–find icy–blue color. The 1 oz and 2 oz colors will glow for up to 20 hours. Any will work great for Halloween costumes and hobby applications, and glow like crazy under blacklight. And without a single radionuclide! Amazing!

These 12 oz. plastic bottles look like they might have been made for aftershave or hair oil. They might also line up very neatly in a rack in the lab or workshop. They're 4-1/2" across, 1-3/4" deep, and 5" tall (counting the screw-on cap). The mouth is 15/16" ID and they are a beautiful dark blue.

Rejoice, we have finally found a source of reasonably priced borosilicate lab glassware. This is the kind of glass in the trade marked Pyrex(tm) and Kimax(tm) labware. The stuff you can put right over the flame of the Bunsen burner, or directly onto the hot plate. This stuff is imported from China, and is considered student grade, which is good enough for anything but the most exotic applications. We have beakers, test tubes, graduated cylinders and flasks. Compare the prices below and you will see that they are around half the U.S. equivalent. Call us for larger quantity prices.

Your choice of (4) different kinds of these wonderful lights that are all but invisible, but make whites “glow in the dark”!! Great for Halloween parties, dances, and stimulation of any phosphorescent materials. To avoid eye damage, please do not look directly at the filament of the light. The bulb types are a regular household shaped 60 watt bulb or a 75 watt spotlight shaped bulb. We also have (2) models which come complete with a lighting fixture, reflector, and 18” blacklight fluorescent tube: The fluorescent indoor model has a 18 watt bulb and 6 ft cord for a standard 120 vac wall outlet with a switch; the car model comes with a 15 watt fluorescent tube and 15 ft cord for a cigarette lighter outlet. Great goolish fun! (Please note: The "bulb" types do not glow as well as the flourescent types)

This skeleton is actually used in medical and other schools for teaching. The bones are plastic, but other than that it's as realistic and anatomically correct as they come. The ready-to-use skeleton is mounted with a 360° swivel at the pelvis from a heavy-duty metal rod on a stand base with castors. It has a skull with a removable section, hinged jaw and (2) removable teeth; plastic zippered dust cover; and stainless steel wire, brackets and wing nut assembly for long life. It's articulated at all joints except the spine, so you can demonstrate flexion/extension, or merely pose it in a debonair posture. Size: 5' 6" tall. Weight: 23 lbs

They're gray rubber stoppers, 3/4" dia at the top, threaded at the bottom to fit 5/8" (16mm) ID bottles. They're 7/8" long OA, with a threaded portion 7/16" long. Which doesn't matter a whole lot if you're using them for their most obvious use, which is to glue them to your neck for the world's absolutely best Frankenstein costume!

The mouse is back! After an extended absence (due more to supply problems than to any rodent-eradication program) the gray rubber mouse is once again available. A hair under 3" long with a 4" long tail, he's diminutive and detailed -- and ready to move into Sis's underwear drawer!
