Attach Anything!
You need this. Anybody who's ever made a third trip to the hardware store on the same day needs this. The (100) -- count 'em, (100) -- chrome vanadium driver and bit attachments include slotted, Phillips, square (Robertson) head, torx, hex and 12-point bits, plus security Phillips, torx and hex, and (4) different driver adapters (one of which, a super-cute cup-hook driver, has us oddly excited). They're all in a flip-top plastic case. How come it's surplus? If you turn it upside down and shake it, some of the bits fall out of their little size-marked slots. So don't do that. Or stick a thin sheet of foam inside it and all will be well.

Snappy Lab Jackets
Our fashion buyers are just back from the shows in Milan with these brand new, nice quality, 80% poly/20% cotton lab coats. These are Euro-sizes, which generally (and generously) match chest circumference. The 42 has 34-1/2" sleeves, and the 48 has 36". All are about 39" long, which means fingertip length or mid-thigh, depending on how long you are. Think men's small, large and XL. They're all five-button, with one breast pocket and two large side pockets and have no name or embroidery added. Notched lapels, no vent-just what all the best-dressed technicians are wearing this season.

Old Codger's Carving Set
Not an old codger? Get an early start. This was made for sitting on the porch, carving family heirlooms after supper. The pressboard case holds a 6-piece wood carving set with (3) small straight gouges, (1) straight chisel, (1) V-gouge and (1) skew chisel. All are approx 5" long, with wooden handles. Be even better if you used them while an old dog was asleep at your feet, but we don't sell old dogs.

Good Tweezers
This set of (6) tweezers is as useful as it looks daunting. The (6) stainless steel tweezers vary in size from 4-1/2" up to 7". Squeeze 'n' Squirt
Inside the lab, it's a standard translucent-white, LDPE-plastic wash bottle, 500ml/16oz, measuring 2-3/4" dia x 6-3/4 tall with a screwcap and a right-angle, 5/16" dia nozzle. Outside the lab, it's so pleasing to squeeze and squirt with that some of us keep them in the kitchen.

Our each is a box of (100) shiny, flat, steel nails with square beveled heads, each head imprinted with a tiny cross. These #6 nails are 2-1/8" long. Even the box is a retro find. Such sticklers for details, these pacifistic Swiss.

Lots of excitement around here today. Pat found a source for a childproof white–plastic screw cap for a bottle with a 28/400 thread. And it has a 2 mL dropper, graduated in 1/4 mL increments after the first 1/2 mL, that can be pulled from the cap and used separately! It’s 3–1/2” long from dropper tip to the top of the cap, plus the 1–1/4” rubber bulb. Doesn’t take much to make them break out the champagne around here. For extra savings, try our case of 400!

Masks, Gas, Russian
Assembled in the U.S. from Russian parts, anyway. What we have here is a gas mask for children, although frankly, the smallest of them are really more Yorkshire-terrier sized. New, but surplus, and while they're rated NBC for nuclear/biological/chemical contaminants, they carry absolutely no guarantees. These are to be used as part of a collection, or for costume/novelty purposes. These adult masks come with an integrated, screw-on filter canister, carrying pouch, and (6) plastic eye-lens covers. The medium ones are for adults with a facial circumference (measure around the crown of the head and under the chin) between 25” and 25-3/4”.

Butane Beauty
It's stylish, it's handy, it has a slightly menacing look to it, and-truth be told-it's a lot of fun. It's a handheld butane torch, great for everyone: in the lab, under the hood, working with circuitry, heck, a chef can even use it to flambé the dessert. 6-1/4" tall, 3-5/8" x 2-1/4" dia base, 3-5/8" long at the top, with a textured grip, push-button start with safety, and air adjustment to control the size of the flame.
