Needle File Set
Miniature 5–1/2" steel needle files. They come in the usual assortment of flat, wedge, triangular, and round shapes, (10) in all. They seem to be pretty uniformly fine with none that we would call coarse. Made in China, they come in a vinyl carrying case that snaps shut. Not as classy as some of the sets we have seen in the $18.00 range, but perfectly serviceable for most applications. And at a third the price.

Diamond point bits that, if used by your dentist would send you through the roof. The assortment of bits includes cylinders, cones (points), balls and a couple of special shapes all in a variety of sizes. In the set of (20), each has 3/32" dia. shank and is about 2-3/4" long OA. In the set of (10), each has a 1/8" dia. shank and is about 1-3/4" long OA, with larger size bit heads. Both come in plastic cases. A craftsperson's delight!!

Micro Bits
And we do mean micro. Sizes #61 to #80 (yes, that is twenty different bits) which are from 0.013 to 0.038 inches diameter!! The big boys sell a set of similar bits (carbon steel, like ours) for about $30.00!! Maybe theirs aren't from China.

Mini Mandrel
Steel mandrel, 1/8" dia x 1-3/4" long. It has a slot head screw fastener with a fiber washer and can handle cutoffs etc with as little as a 1/16" bore and as much as 1/4" thickness. Good for the cutoff wheels you will find listed nearby and similar items for your rotary tool. PLEASE NOTE: In our catalog the size is listed as 3/32". This is a misprint. The correct size is 1/8" shank. Sorry.

Peekaboo Canisters
Our aluminum canisters with clear glass pull–off lids are cool. The smallest canisters are aluminum–colored, a set of (20) 1–1/4” dia x 3/4” deep in a 6–1/2” x 5–1/4” x 7/8” lightweight aluminum box with a hinged lid. When the box is shut, a layer of foam padding inside the lid presses down on the canisters, keeping them securely closed. If you need slightly larger canisters, and a cardboard box will work instead of a carrying case, try our colorful display of anodized tins. They are packaged in sets of (12) and come in great assorted colors and are 2” dia x 7/8” deep. The Penny Cutters
These are the so-called miracle shears from Pakistan. They were designed for use by paramedics and others needing quickly to cut wire, light sheet metal, or other tough stuff that might stand between them and their quarry. They are normally demonstrated cutting a penny in two. Which they will do. But not as a steady diet. Let's dispel a few myths. While these are Pakistani stainless, we're not talking any miracles in manufacturing. They are good for their purpose, and real handy to have in the old tool box. But their purpose isn't making pennies into 5-mil pieces, and you will twist or break them at about the same time you find out that you've done the same thing to U.S. laws! For sheet metal or wire or fishing leaders or tin cans or whatever, be our guests.
