Plastic Santas...
A metaphor, perhaps. A bag of (144) plastic X-mas figures roughly 2" tall: red stockings, red santa heads, green wreaths and green X-mas trees. Each figure comes with a 3/4" stem, meant to be stuck into a cake, cupcake or brownie. However, think of things outside of the edible domain: potted plants, ornaments and atop gift wrapping. A good balance between cheap and festive!

Resistors

Test Tube Rack
Blue plastic test tube rack, about 8" long x 2-1/2" wide x 3-1/4" tall OA. It has a plate with (6) holes for full test tubes, the end two being 1-1/16" dia the others 3/4" dia. In front of this are (6) pegs to hold clean inverted test tubes. It of course can be used to hold tools, drying pasta or other, non-lab objects.

Flat Marbles
They look like glass marbles that were dropped on a cold slab when the glass was molten. Hence they have a flattened blob shape, about 1/4" thick and as big as 1" x 3/4" or as small as 1/2" dia. across. All are translucent, except for white, which is solid white. Talented folk use them in flower arrangements, to fill a jar or glass as decoration or for similar tasteful purposes. The rest of us use them for joke marbles, non-jumping tiddlywinks and board game pieces. Our each is a bag of (100) marbles.

Make Molds For Free!
Just leave bread in a damp place. Or buy this stuff and make casts of solid objects, anything from faces and fingers to celery and crucifixes, with quick-setting Instamold. (We'll sell you 10 oz. of the Instamold compound, but you provide the water to mix it with.) Then fill the molds you've made with plaster, wax, or Permastone-yes, we sell Permastone too. It's an extremely strong casting medium with a clean white hue when set, waterproof and scratch resistant. Each can we sell has 1-3/4 lbs. of Permastone, to be mixed with water.

Mount That Specimen
Cases for mounting butterflies, bugs, rocks, fossils or any other three dimensional collectibles. Known as Riker mounts, these are sturdy cardboard boxes 7/8" deep, with glass glued into the front cover for viewing. They are filled with a fairly firm, white, expanded, synthetic, cotton–like material. The cushiony filler holds the three–dimensional viewee in place without pins or glue. Very handy for the proud trophy hunter. Our smaller is 5–1/4” x 6–1/4”; larger is 12” x 16–1/2”.

Litmus Paper
Chemically treated paper strips to test for acid or base (alkaline) solutions. Use the blue for acids, the red for bases. The more sophisticated pH test paper strip indicates pH from 1 (bright red) to 14 (dark brown). Values in between can be read by comparing with a color chart that comes with the strips. All have (100) strips of test paper per vial.

Rejoice, we have finally found a source of reasonably priced borosilicate lab glassware. This is the kind of glass in the trade marked Pyrex(tm) and Kimax(tm) labware. The stuff you can put right over the flame of the Bunsen burner, or directly onto the hot plate. This stuff is imported from China, and is considered student grade, which is good enough for anything but the most exotic applications. We have beakers, test tubes, graduated cylinders and flasks. Compare the prices below and you will see that they are around half the U.S. equivalent. Call us for larger quantity prices.

Slide Boxing
The sport of the future? No, cork-lined polystyrene boxes for holding microscope slides, complete with numbered slots and inventory sheets on the lids. The smaller boxes are 5-1/2" x 3-1/2" x 1-1/2" with lift-off lids, and the larger are 8-3/4" x 6-3/4" x 1-1/3" with hinged lids and metal clasps. Both models are stackable, and you might get them in a variety of colors.
