Light Duty Magnets/Desk Toys
These tiny alnico magnets are a mere 3/8" long x 1/8" dia cylinders, slightly larger than ice-cream jimmies, with approx 1/4-oz lift. They could hold sticky notes that have lost their sticky, and they hang on to each other end-to-end really nicely, so a bunch of them are fun to play with as a desktop toy, but they're really great for magnetic reed switches. For both tots and folks with arthritic fingers, these ergonomic comfort grips are 1-5/8" long triangles of soft rubber, approx 3/4" wide on each side, from Ticonderoga. Note that (despite the pencil pictured on the label of the bulk pack) these are the Jumbo size, with a 7/16" bore, slightly larger than a standard pencil, so they're made for the larger diameter crayons, pens, and markers.
