Hemostatic Heaven
Hemostats are the clamplike devices dangling from veins and arteries in melodramatic operating scenes. Our particular collection are Pakistani surgical-grade instruments made of magnetic stainless steel. As such we rate them pretty good, but not fantastic. Hemostats look like little pliers. The jaws are relatively fine, with rounded tips. The inside faces are lightly serrated to get a grip on tubing or body plumbing. And the handles are much longer than the jaws. Ratchets between the handles click together to lock the hemostat in a closed position. To release the clamps, push the handles apart at 90 degrees to the plane of the jaws. Now the heavenly part. Great hobby clamps that can be worked into small areas. Fine heat sinks for electronics. Good hook extractors for trout fisherpeople. Excellent tubing clamps for flow-sensitive chemistry experiments. Sizes are approximate length.

Flying With Film
You’d think a lead-lined bag would weigh more! Even holding film cartridges, these are light enough for your carry-on luggage. The lead-lined paper bag that is 19-1/2” x 12” wide opens to 3-3/4”. The 24-1/2” x 16-3/4” wide bag opens to 4”. Check the Web for hints on how best to protect your film with them.

All together now, boys and girls, can you say BARGAIN? A bonanza assortment of (100) 1/8" shank rotary tool attachments: wheels, brushes, stones, sanding wheels, buffing pads, and sundry other stuff. All in a nice wooden box with the latch on upside down-so write "top" on the top. Is that why it's here? That, and the cardboard sleeve that tells us to heed an "importan" warning.

Slick Brushed Bottle
These would look right at home holding spices in a kitchen with brushed stainless appliances. They're 2-oz brushed aluminum bottles that were meant for tiny aerosols, 3-5/16" tall x 1-1/2" dia with round shoulders, 9/16" ID crimp-top mouths, and concave bottoms. They'll plug nicely with #1 rubber stoppers or #5 corks, and you can label them or write right on 'em with a dry-erase marker.

What's Your Angle?
Measure an existing angle from 0° to 90° -- in any quadrant -- quickly and easily. This angle finder has a magnetic base that mounts on a steel framing square or pipe, a 4" rotary face with a floating pointer, and a pitch-per-inch and pitch-per-foot chart on the back. Handy, and accurate within half a degree.

Inner Peace Egg
We're very fond of this mesmerizing ovoid. It's a translucent-white, soft-rubber egg with LEDs inside, 3-5/8" tall x 2-3/4" dia at its egg waist, as it were. Turn it on and it morphs slowly through a series of attractive pastel colors. No Easter basket would be complete without one. Placed on a desk or nightstand, we think it can produce lasting inner peace. Which is hard to find these days. The 3-5/8" wide triangular silver-colored charging stand has an indicator and a wall adapter, and will power it when it's on the base, or charge its internal NiMH battery (over 8-10 hours) for 500 cycles (about 6 hours) of stand-alone morphing. Mighty nice, Paul says, now that he's found his inner peace.

A Bit Sharp
Restore the edges of dull drill bits right on your power drill with this 2-piece sharpener. It would take a long, dull description to explain how the (2) 4-1/4" long attachments work, but they grind the correct angles every time on carbon and high-speed 3.5 mm to 10 mm and 1/8" to 3/8" bits. Detailed instructions, but you could just consider it magic, like we do.

Need a place to keep the ammo? We're here to help. Try our 8" dia X 27-1/2" tall OA military-surplus steel howitzer-shell storage canister. Has a twist-lock, rubber-gasketed lid, so it's watertight. Might have a touch of light rust on the olive-drab exterior, and will certainly have copious stenciling: "15MM HOW. M1, M1A1, M45, M126 PROPELLANT EXPLOSIVE. SOLID-CLASS B…." Usable inside dimensions are 6-1/2" dia x 25", which means it's a perfect portable Champagne bucket or standing ashtray. If you don't mind that it weighs 15 pounds.
