More fun for the easily amused! A very stylish 3-1/2" x 5-1/4" clear acrylic panel, less that 1/2" thick has two flattened hourglass chambers within it. Both have non-toxic fluids and suspended in one are black grains that are heavier than the liquid. In the other are colored grains that are lighter. Flip the works from one black plastic end to the other and the grains slowly do their things, black down, colored up, over maybe a five minute period. Very soothing. We'll pick your color from neon red, orange, chartreuse and magenta.

They’re undrilled (no holes) and modelers/hobbbyists will swoon at these prices. Luckily, we’ve got approximately 32 gazillion of them, all in beautiful, clear basswood, all primed white. They’re 3/8” thick, 2-1/2” wide X 36" long and all perfectly smooth and flat, with slightly rounded edges. At these prices you can afford to glue them up into laminated blocks and carve out any shape you like. It’s the model shop/art studio/wood shop deal of the year. Titled "The Field and Forest Handy Book," this volume has been justifiably in print since 1906. Written by Daniel C. "Uncle Dan" Beard, the founder of the Sons of Daniel Boone and one of the founders of the BSA, it's a compendium of eternally relevant woodland lore, from building cabins, sleds, boats, and bridges to camping in swamps. The only part we skipped was on how to cook a muskrat. (We know a place that delivers.) Loaded with illustrations. In soft cover from David Godine's Nonpareil Books, 428 pages.

Good-bye backaches. Save your sacroiliac with a 3-wheeled professional mover's dolly. It measures 6-3/8" wide between a trio of swivel casters with 1-9/16" x 11/16" wheels, and has a drop-down center and a 1/2" dia hole for permanent attachment to frequently moved items. (Think school pianos.) Steel construction, 110 lb max load, and rubber pads above each wheel. Stands 2-1/2" tall. We think ordering (4) would be a good place to start. (Three, if it's a grand piano.)
