Do Not (Fill In The Blank)
We know there's a message in this 12" dia safety sign with the classic slashed circle. It's red and white on reflective, adhesive-backed vinyl, and the graphics mean "Do not put out fire with liquids." Given its limited application, we're more excited about cutting out the white sections and putting the red circle/slash over a photo of our least favorite politician. But hey, if you're on the safety committee, knock your socks off. Just make sure the sign isn't hung upside down. Then it says "Do not let fire rain into your coffee."

The Daily Grind
Assorted grinding stones, all mounted on arbors of varying lengths, but one shaft size: 1/4" dia. to be precise. The sizes of the stones themselves range from 1/4" dia. to 2" dia. and from 3/4" to 3" in length. A variety of colors, grits and shapes such as discs, cones, barrels, etc. We choose (3) different stones for your grinding pleasure.

Peekaboo Canisters
Our aluminum canisters with clear glass pull–off lids are cool. When a set of a dozen contains lavender, red and 10 other colors, it’s cool to the max. The smallest canisters are aluminum–colored, a set of (20) 1–1/4” dia x 3/4” deep in a 6–1/2” x 5–1/4” x 7/8” lightweight aluminum box with a hinged lid. When the box is shut, a layer of foam padding inside the lid presses down on the canisters, keeping them securely closed. An ideal carrying case for paints, many different screws, or other sets of small items or quantities that must remain separate. If you need slightly larger canisters, and a cardboard box will work instead of a carrying case, try our colorful display, anodized tins in great colors come in a set of (12) 2” dia x 7/8” deep. Peel the backing off these 10 ft rolls of 15” wide vinyl to cover shelves, make signs, turn that avocado refrigerator into a classy black. The bold solid colors include Black, Olympic Blue, Bright Orange, Sunflower Yellow and Tomato Red. At 3 mil, it has enough body to make it easy to handle if you have basic motor skills. Mom's Box - Or Not
If you like bowls that say "Pretzels" and address books that say "Addresses," you'll love this 4" x 2-1/2" x 1-5/16" black-plastic box the says "MOM'S JEWELRY BOX" on it in white. It has a mirror on the inside of the hinged lid, a cheesy red liner, and a light-activated music box that plays a snatch of Beethoven - after you find the little electronic device under the removable lining and put in a couple of watch batteries (not included). If you're not into labeling, Mom can be rubbed out with a little denatured alcohol (along with any other letters you choose). Lift out the music module, and you're left with a snazzy black box you can use for storing any number of small items. And you thought it was going to be tacky!

Ohmygosh! George Wilson sent a Christmas card this year after missing two years, and you don't even know his address! Our Holiday Card Registry saves the (holi)day. The red spiral binding and a holly wreath on the cover set this 5" x 7" book apart from your everyday address book. And somewhere on one of the (60) 2-sided pages, each with spaces for (9) names and addresses and (5) years of sent/recvd records, is good ol' Mr Wilson.

Safety Flasher
"Laser" safety lights each with super bright LEDs run by (2) "AA" batteries that you supply. It's square and has a flashing or steady LED lamp visible up to 2500 feet (distance may be exaggerated). A 2" x 2-1/2" red plastic reflecting lens covers (3) lamps. WATCH OUT! WATCH OUT! It's a congregation of annoying, white-faced, voice-challenged, hyperactive drama students trying to break out of their imaginary .... Oh. Mines? Oh. WATCH OUT! Clever Idea #763
This idea is for the birds. Literally. A green/black plastic perch, dish, and dispenser that you can screw onto an inverted plastic pop bottle to convert it into a bird feeder. Obviously, the bottle should have been emptied of pop and filled with seed. One of those "100 things to do with old coat hangers" ideas that really works!! Complete with instructions and bail to hang the completed feeder. Please note: this feeder will not attach properly to the new Coca-Cola low-profile bottles.

Trio Of Pliers
Here's a handy set of pliers to start filling that toolbox. (Okay, the label says "Plier" but Pat's gonna give you two handles on each one. He's a prince.) The all-in-one Combo style has a blunt-nose flat jaw and a concave jaw, both knurled, and a side cutter. The (1) bent at the tip, have tapering 2-3/4" jaws and small side cutters. Insulated rubber handles. Not exquisitely machined, but functional, and as we said, handy.

Build Your Own Bird Nest
Favorites of crafters and decorators - abaca (Manila hemp), stripped from the leafstalk of a banana, and the lighter, wider raffia, from the (what a surprise!) raffia palm. Each hank is a good-sized handful, but unwinds to yards and yards and yards of fiber. These are grade-2 quality, but perfectly fine for crafty uses. A bow. A miniature broom. A bird nest. A doll wig? Only if she's having the world's worst hair day!
