Carry a polished rock collection with you in this lovely pencil, embossed with the AS&S name and logo below a clear-plastic, 5/16" dia tube filled with dozens of tiny, colorful polished stones. (Our sample had 44 of them.) True, the actual writing portion is only 3" of the 7-1/2" long pencil, but taken as a whole, it's a pocket-museum of lapidary arts with a little extra talent. We provide the pink eraser to plug the plastic tube at no extra charge.

with this rock- and shell-driller for the budding (or already fully bloomed) crafter or jewelry designer. Call it a semi-toy that really works. Made like a drill press, it's designed to drill holes in small stones or sea shells for stringing on chains or mounting on jewelry. You get the drill, an AC adapter, an ounce of shells, 3 ounces of polished stones, a replacement drill bit, a jar of glue, and an assortment of (20) key-rings, chains, earring wires and rings. Has (2) safety locks and a protective dome to prevent injury, and uses water to lubricate the drill. Can be used by children age 8 and over, with adult supervision.
