Wax Works

Rotary Tool Set

Small, but mighty useful if you need a tiny tap and die set for threading wire or stripped screws. The micro set has a 3-1/4" long die plate and 14 taps (sizes 7 through 20 -- read 0.7 mm through 2.0 mm), and a mighty attractive price. This funnel looks delicate, but it's Pyrex® so heat won't hurt it. The tough little glass funnel has a 75mm (approx 3") ID mouth and an 80mm long neck with a 6mm ID fluted outlet. No markings.

Digital Light Meter
This Velleman DVM 1300 Light Meter displays measurements between 0.1 and 50K lux in (5) different ranges on a liquid crystal display with (4) 1/2" high digits. Filtered 1-1/2" dia sensor on a 13" coiled cord. The 4-5/8" x 2-3/8" x 7/8" case has reflective tape on the back for dealing with a shadow. Comes in a vinyl case with a recommended-illumination chart and a 12-volt battery.

Snappy Lab Jackets
Our fashion buyers are just back from the shows in Milan with these brand new, nice quality, 80% poly/20% cotton lab coats. These are Euro-sizes, which generally (and generously) match chest circumference. The 42 has 34-1/2" sleeves, and the 48 has 36". All are about 39" long, which means fingertip length or mid-thigh, depending on how long you are. Think men's small, large and XL. They're all five-button, with one breast pocket and two large side pockets and have no name or embroidery added. Notched lapels, no vent-just what all the best-dressed technicians are wearing this season.
