Blow into the little mouthpiece and people four blocks away will look up. Folks any closer will spill their mocha frappucinos in their laps. Actually we think the manufacturer's half-mile-range claim might even be an understatement. The Mega Sound Blaster delivers the loudest horn blast we've ever heard from this small a package (3" long x 2-1/4" dia). It has a 30" neck cord, so you'll always be ready to scare the bejeebers out of woodland critters, tell the rangers you're lost, call the kids in from the lake, or impersonate an 18-wheeler.

Look! Up in the sky! It's a screeching flying monkey to the rescue! And at a screechingly low price. Our hero is an 11" long stuffed monkey in superhero togs (a cape, and maybe a mask or hood, depending on his sartorial whim). Put two fingers in the little pockets on his paws, pull his bungee arms back, and let him go. He'll fly a good 25 feet or more, issuing hideous monkey screeches all the while, faster than a flying nun and able to brighten up a day in the office in a single bound.

Time was, kids amused themselves with a button in the middle of a string-pull the string's ends apart, watch the button spin. For today's kids, an electronic version which works on the same principle: a 4-1/8" dia plastic disk with pulsing red, blue, green and yellow LEDs and (2) whistling slots to make nice a buzzing, cicada-like noise when the disk spins. Includes (3) replaceable button-cell batteries. Way, way more entertaining!

Time was, these service bells were on every teacher's desk and the front desk of every hotel in the world. They're still a classically beautiful design, and they'll still bring folks running when you tap the little plunger on top. The chrome bell sits on a black enameled steel base and the whole thing is 2-3/4" dia x 1-7/8" tall.

Even as you read this, our office refrigerator is playing all by itself. Yours could, too, if you had this extremely cool set of automatic working-gear fridge magnets. Very instructive for budding engineers, just plain fun to watch, and, we assume, amusing for the ice box itself. You'll get (20) 3/8" thick plastic gears in assorted neon colors, all of which interlock in various patterns and turn all by themselves, driven by the 5" dia x 2" thick motorized gear/picture frame that runs on a couple of "AA"s that you provide. Gears include (7) at 4-5/8" dia and 3-1/2" dia and (6) at 2-1/2" dia. Buncha bright stickers included at no extra cost.

And it's a larger-than-life R/C dragonfly! About triple the size of the largest dragonfly on record, but 10 times bigger than the ones you see around the neighborhood pond. Our radio-controlled buzzer has a 16-1/2" wire-and-cellophane wingspan and a 13" long styrofoam" body, and flies by flapping his big wings. He's stabilized by a small tail rotor (which you won't find on the real thing). The controller runs on (6) "AA" batteries (not included) which also charge the futuristic dragonfly's internal battery. Wings and rotor have continuous variable speed. Range is approx 50 feet and there is a trimmer dial to keep him flying straight. Charges in 20 minutes for 7 minutes of flying time.
