Sculpting Tools
AKA wax carvers. Each tool is about 6" long, stainless steel, with a shaped head on each end. Set "B" has two smaller arrow heads, two sort of like golf clubs and two more small (1/8"+) "spoons". The smaller sizes mean slightly sharper edges and points, but they are still basically dull. You certainly could use them to model in wax, or in clay, or to sculpt plaster of Paris. Handy and unusual.

Buncha Trays 'N' Lids
These are left over from those scrumptious hot meals that hospitals serve. Use the trays and lids when you're under the weather, or serving someone who is. Mix and match them, but carefully, since the round lids fit some bottoms better than others-and the 8" square x 2-7/8" deep lid don't fit nothin' we've got. On the other hand, we think the trays also make perfect indestructible flower pot saucers, and the lids, which have recessed handles so they can sit on their heads (which is more than you can do), would make nice wide planters themselves. Some of them say they can take heat and some say they can't but we're pretty sure they're talking about hospital ovens because they all do just fine warming up tortillas in the office microwave. Assorted unmatched colors (our choice).

Whip any number of small things into shape with our set of (30) assorted diamond burs and bits-cylinders, ball-tips, cones and points in graduated sizes. All with 1/8" shanks and all 180 grit, in a black-plastic case with a clear top. Not the super-expensive grade 3 quality, but these are definitely grade 2 and-are you ready for this?-better than the average bur!

Good Tweezers
This set of (6) tweezers is as useful as it looks daunting. The (6) stainless steel tweezers vary in size from 4-1/2" up to 7". Butane Beauty
It's stylish, it's handy, it has a slightly menacing look to it, and-truth be told-it's a lot of fun. Measuring pH
This handheld pH meter from Hanna Instruments measures 0-14 pH to 0.01 resolution, accurate to +/- 0.2. Calibration screw for 7.01, and another for 4.01 or 10.01 pH. The unit is 6-3/4" X 2" X 15/16" OA, with a 4-digit 1-1/8" X 1/2" LCD readout, and a replaceable 4-1/8" long x 9mm dia probe that screws into the case. Comes with a tip cover for the probe and (2) button-cell batteries. Don't forget to order the 20mL foil packs of pH 4.01, 7.01 or 10.01 Buffer Solution, with a chart listing the specific pH of the solution at various temperatures. Cut Right To It
This all-purpose scissors is the favorite of everyone at A.S.&S.: Pat uses his to cut and strip wire. C.J. uses his to slit the tape on packages. Mary Ann uses hers to open bags of pretzels. It's 6-1/4" long overall, with a very sharp 2" stainless steel blade and large, comfortable handles. It would sell for $9.95 retail if it was new, but it was used for one day to cut cloth in the assembly plant of a major car company, then discarded. Quality control is a wonderful thing.

Plastic Pipet
Each non-sterile transfer pipet measures 6-1/8" long, with a 1mm mouth, a 3/16" dia neck, and a 1/2" dia bulb. It holds 3.5ml and is graduated up to 1ml in .25ml increments.
