Suction Cups
Clear soft plastic suction cups in varying sizes. Medium small is 1–1/16" dia. without a hook. Medium large is 1–5/8" dia with a hook. Finally, the medium yellow is solid yellow or sometimes green, is 1–1/2" dia and has no hook. Yellow/Green is made of a harder rubber than the other clear guys. If you can’t find what you need here, it doesn’t exist.

Cotter Pins
Slide them through a slot, then flare the ends to hold them there. We have (1) size of metal cotter pins, for all your project needs. Small are 1–1/4” long x 1/4” wide, with a 1/8” wide eye.

Keep Your Ants Down on the Farm
All plastic ant farm(tm), 6" x 8-1/2" x 3/8". The ants will live between two parallel sheets of plastic, and you will be able to watch them build their tunnels and chambers. Complete with sand and instruction booklet on the care, feeding, watering and watching of your pet ants. Stands upright on its own base and includes an escape-proof cover. Assuming you want live pets (we have some charming plastic ones shown elsewhere in this catalog), you must return the included certificate to the ant man, who will ship a small vial of the little critters straight to you. Wonderful for frustrated myrmecologists living in high rise apartments or otherwise out of touch with the everyday ant-in-the-street.

Electric Motor and Magnet Kits

Use it as an electrical insulator in the lab, split it and combine it with cellophane to make colors and polarize light, replace the window in your wood stove, or make “isinglass curtains that roll right down” for your model surrey!!

Porcelain evaporating dishes from China. The glazing of the interior carries over and down the top 1/2" of the outside, but the bottom of the outside is unglazed to sit over a burner flame. The idea is to boil off a liquid, leaving one with solid chemicals. Should work equally well with anything you want to heat in small quantities. All have pouring lips. The 250 ml dish is 4-7/8" x 1-3/4" high.

Metric Triple Beam Balance
Easy to use, and with 0.1 gram sensitivity the O'haus triple beam balance is perfect for measuring chemicals, biological specimens or the rutabaga for tonight's supper. Parallax free, the balance is damped by a pair of alnico magnets in the end post for friction free use. The three notched and tiered beams (100-500 grams, 10-100 grams, 0-10 grams) have center reading sliding poises. 610 gram capacity (standard) can be increased to 2610 grams by the use of attachment weights, available as an accessory. Glitzy Magnets
Frame your sweetie in brilliant red or green diffraction grating on the 'fridge!! These thin flexible 2-3/4" x 5" rubberized magnetic sheets are cut out for framing a snapshot while holding it to a metal surface. The sheet is red or green diffraction grating with a "Happy Holidays and Happy New Year" message and an oval cut out (you may not get the oval insert but you will get both colors). We found we could erase the gold "...Holidays..." message with some dulling of the surface.
