They're fightin' over this stuff in the office. The 3M" people call it "Bundling Wrap" and sell it for wrapping fishing rods, bundling tent stakes, cable, cords, like that, but we think it's got hundreds of applications. It's 1" wide forest green fabric ribbon/tape with very, very small hooks on the back and teensy loops on the fabric front. Cut off just the amount you'll need, wrap it around stuff, and it hangs on like it's in love. Very useful for gardening, crafts, organizing tools and briefcases, strapping pants to ankles on bike commutes, being the utilitarian ribbon on a gift wrapped for some handy guy, and lots more. You'll get a 9-foot spool, super-cheap, and we'd hide it if we were you.

Or find fluorescence in rocks. Light up your own disco. Play CSI, Your House. Make your teeth glow in the dark. All this and more is possible with the magic of black light. You pick: the short one is 6-3/8" long x 2" wide x 7/8" thick in a black-plastic housing with an incandescent flashlight at the top, a 6-1/2" wrist strap, and a handy 10pp stain-removal handbook. Takes (4) "AA"s, not included. The big guy is 12-1/2" long, with a plastic casing (our pick of colors) designed to be mounted with double-sided tape. Takes (8) "AA"s, not included.

An empty box, but a great one. This case used to belong to a Chinese Army corpsman, but now it's yours for the taking (after we process your order, of course). It's olive drab fabric over pressboard, with the int'l Red Cross symbol on the front. Measures 14" x 8-1/2" x 8-1/4", and has a pair of adjustable canvas straps. Twist-clasps hold the lid and the drop-front, concealing (2) storage drawers. Inside are several dividers and a 4-1/2" round x 1" deep keeper with nothing to keep anymore. This is nice, but it's been in storage, so treat it to a couple of cleansing hours in the sun.
