How cool is this? Spring-loaded storage! When packed in its nylon zipper bag, it's 17" dia x 4" wide, with carrying handles. Unzip it and the spiral steel spring inside pops it open to become a standing, 17" dia x 22" tall, nylon canvas barrel. Has a zipper lid. Think camping hamper. Expanding beer cooler. Traveling trash can.

Safe Suit
Stylish in a forest commando sort of way, and secure, our N-B-C protective suit is from the UK military. Separate pants and hooded shirt are about a 40 regular, or men's medium, although the pants have a more generous, and expandable, waist. (The Brits say they're for folks 5'10".) Lotsa pockets, tabs, hook-and-loop fasteners, suspenders and zippers, and they're a solid forest green, not OD. Surplus (although unworn) and manufactured in 1992, so no nuclear, biological, or chemical guarantees, OK? On the other hand, where else can you buy a new suit at this price?

Scrubs, for short, and just like the ones they wear on Scrubs: stylish medical wear, suitable for removing gall bladders, washing the car, or watching medical shows on TV, and comfortable enough to sleep in. You pick: Short-sleeved tunic in white, dotted with an abstract floral bouquet pattern, with (3) pockets at the front hem, in Medium, Large, or X-Large. And coordinating maroon scrub pants with drawstring waists and (1) pocket on the right hip, in Medium (42” max waist) and X-Large (46” max waist). All made in the USA for Medline.

Surgeon Blue Gown
A touch darker blue-gray than your usual Alice Blue Gown, these are made of a better-than-paper, not-quite fabric (that we wouldn't wash if we were you) with white cotton knit cuffs, and can be worn front- or backwards. They're made for your local sawbones to wear in the O.R. The lighter weight XL has front ties, and a hook-and-loop neck closure. The heavier one is a touch extra-larger, with front and side ties, snap closures at the neck, and in a slightly heavier fabric. We're thinking of either one as a workshop cover-up, disposable travel bathrobe, painting smock, or just a handy thing to keep in the trunk of the car for those unexpected roadside kidney transplants.

The in-between aluminum tripod: bigger than a mini but a lot easier to tote than a full-size version. Collapses to 14-3/4" long x a triangle approx 2-1/2" on a side. Has 4-draw legs with clutches that extend (3) feet, and a shaft that pulls up another 12" to a full 4-foot height. Includes a 1/4"-20 standard camera thread. Very useful item for small digital camera users.

That's what I'm made for. I'm a gray-plastic, 3-digit mechanical counter that measures 1-1/2" x 1-1/8" x 7/8". My 9/16" long lever kicks my counter up one digit at a time, and my 1" dia toothed side-wheel resets me. I'm a really nice device from the pre-LED world!
