Plainsers
Here on the prairie we resent the calling of those things one puts under a glass "coasters". Why should the ocean fronts always get the credit?? So we are offering these roughly 3-1/2" sq. plastic devices under the inland name of "plainsers" You will get (8) all the same color of our choice, be it orange, brown, gold, black, silver or clear. We say square, but the sides are slightly convex out. Kind of like our midriff. An excellent value under any name.

Brass For Class
You may think these neat metal stakes are impressively long kabob skewers - and maybe they were, at their inception - but we see the 15" black steel rods as strong plant stakes for potted plants or decorative accents for your garden. Each flat, sharpened rod is topped with a polished, 3" long brass finial (seashell, fish, anchor and other marine icon). Classy looking, and functional. The Garden Hardy® from APPCO should probably be called the Houseplant Hardy. Insert the 4" dia x 5/8" thick disc of nutrients between the saucer and pot of a potted plant, and for up to six months it nourishes the plant by releasing the correct mix of fertilizer as you water it. In addition, the wicking action promotes deeper rooting and prevents root rot. Note: Since dogs and kids rarely get root rot, you don't want to let them ingest this stuff.

The microwave leak detector is a reusable neon-lamp-based card and measures 3-3/8” x 2-1/8”. The lead hazard kit has three test strips to check wall paint and household items—you add white vinegar. And to test the testers (like guarding the guardians, which can be important) there’s a carbon monoxide detector test kit. It comes with a small glass tube of carbon monoxide; you put it in the bag with your CO detector and break the tube. All the kits come with directions.
