Weather on a Pole
A whole weather station, all hung on one 58" pole ready to be planted in your garden. It includes a 15" high thermometer with °F and °C marked in large numerals, a rain gauge that will measure up to 4" or 10 cm. of rainfall against an expanded scale, plus wind speed and direction indicators. We suggest you hit the latter (2) with a shot of WD-40 to loosen them up. You get no read out on the wind, but can make a subjective judgement from the speed with which the anemometer spins and the direction the arrow points. Sturdy black plastic, it will be a handsome and useful addition to your yard. (We got 0.25" of rain last night!!)

Top o' the World, Ma!
Jimmy Cagney in "White Heat," and it would have been much easier if he'd just bought our special top of the world geo-umbrella. It's 34" long when folded, has a 39" span, and is printed with a cartoony view of the whole northern hemisphere from above. The map is dark and light blue, green and sand, and matches the light-blue plastic tip and curled handle.

Buckle Down Windsocky

Happy, The Hydrant
If Poppin' Fresh" the dough guy had a kid who joined the fire department, he'd look like our little grinning fire hydrant. Proud to be 2-3/8" tall x 1-1/8" dia at his bottom, he's pleasingly squishy, just like dad, but in yellow and red rubber. And just right for adding a little fun to physical therapy for fingers and thumbs.

You'll have to find a twelve-year old to program it for you, but when the kid's done, it'll be really cool (pun intended). The indoor part of our talking indoor/outdoor thermometer is a 6" x 3-1/2" x 1" white plastic case with (2) LCDs displaying your choice of (4) modes of times and temperatures. And does it talk! In/out temperatures at alarm time or hourly, daily highs and lows, freezing and high-temperature alerts, and more. A sliding cover conceals the control panel for volume, clock, mode settings, etc. The unit hangs on the wall or stands. A probe on a 10-ft cord reads the outside temperature. The package says it requires (2) "AA" batteries, but it should say (2) "AAA" (not included).

How Cold Is It...?
This neatly unobtrusive thermometer will let you know. In clear plastic, 3" sq x 7/8" thick, you mount it outside the window and it disappears. All you see through the glass is the red and blue, easy-to-read dial. Measures -60°F (the temperature at which dogs stick to sidewalks) to 120°F (when golf balls melt) in 2° increments.
