Itty Bitty Zipseal
Zipseal plastic bag of the size gnomes use to store leftovers. 1" sq, 2" sq, 2" x 3" or 3" x 4" (our each come in bags of 100 count), clear polyethylene (the 2" x 3" 27906 has a white strip across one side, 36562 does not.). Store rings, small rock samples, biology parts, and model pieces. Great for cleaning up behind your Guinea pig when you take him for a walk.

Electric Motor and Magnet Kits

A trio of the best science education kits we have seen dealing with electricity, magnetism, motors and generators. The 44 page instruction booklets are educational and complete; state problem, approach and explain what is happening for a series of projects of graded difficulty. The Motor/Generator kit includes several introductory experiments on magnetism as well as six complete motor generator projects. The Electromagnet kit provides experiments including the building of an electromagnet, a doorbell chime, a telegraph, a relay and an electric catapult. The Levitation Set experiments with magnetic fields, gravity, and equilibrium; plus everything you need to build a magnetic levitation train! All are complete except for batteries. Screaming Yellow Banners
Each has black lettering stenciled on bright yellow plastic tape, with the message repeated over and over. They are 3" wide by 200 ft or 1000 ft long. All are the real thing, made for sale to police and other serious users. Some have an obvious industrial application, some will work in the school playground, some seem appropriate to cordon off the kids’ rooms.

Soil Test Kits
The budding home scientist and horticulturist will both delight in the ease with which this self contained soil test kit brings discovery. The kit measures not only ph., but also Nitrogen, Phosphate and Potash content and contains material for 40 tests. Since these are the essential ingredients affecting plant nutrition, we see a science project in the making: experimental plant growth in soils with different amounts of acidity and/or nutrients. From Luster Leaf(tm), the kit is entirely self contained and includes complete instructions for use and explanations. Be careful, please, the kit does have chemicals and should not be used by young children without supervision.

Positioner/Holder
A fine concept and pretty successful execution. Weighted bases hold fully adjustable clips and lenses for delicate hands–free work. The Helping Hand w/solder has a 2” high base connected to (2) alligator clips via (3) universal joints and a 4–1/2" sliding beam, and to a 2–1/2" dia roughly 3X magnifier via another universal joint on the sliding beam. It also adds a holder for your soldering iron, plus a hole and thumbscrew in the base to firmly position it. The larger Work Stand has a 3–1/2” x 4–3/4” stand with a 2–3/4” square x 3/8” deep reservoir to hold small parts, an L–shaped sliding beam with (2) alligator clips, and another L-shaped beam with a 3–1/2” lens, about 4X magnification. Joints adjust every which way. The set screws can all be hand–tightened, but we suggest a small pliers to secure the hefty 4X lens. Think of the clips as extra hands to hold wires, components, beads, what-have-you while you perform some operation on them with your own two hands.

Dropper
Eye dropper, tongue dropper, test tube dropper, petri dish dropper, anywhere dropper. Use this 3" glass dropper, with a rubber squeeze bulb to drop small amounts of liquid wherever you think they should go. You will have to measure by counting drops, though, because there are no markings on it. Also, it is called "3" because that is about how long the glass tube is. Overall, it is 4" long.

Chinese Rifflers
Riffler files are most prized by sculptors, wood carvers, model makers and similar fashioners of precision objects. They come in a variety of flat, round and triangular shapes. They are usually pointed and always have a delicate curve toward the point which makes them particularly useful for working in tight and curvy spots. We have a set of (10) in an attractive red plastic case. They are 3 x 180 mm size (about 7"), and were made in China for the King Manufacturing Co. Very nice quality at a very nice price. They can cost as much as $4.00-$5.00 apiece in regular outlets.
