Hard Dentistry

This deluxe ABS storage case is called a Store-It-ALL, and it does. But it could be called a Carry-It-ALL, for the sturdy handle and locking clasp, or it could be called a See-It-ALL, for its translucent lid. Or a Fits-It-ALL, for the removable dividers that let you configure it with any number of compartments from 5 to 26. But the 12" x 18" x 3" OA case should really be called ALL-I-Ever-Needed- To-Get-Organized!

It just ain't gonna spill the beads. Or the fishhooks, or screws, or whatever you're storing in the 7-1/2" x 5" x 1-1/2" deep Store-in-It box. The translucent-plastic box with (1) 3-1/2" x 1-1/4" and (10) 1-3/4" x 1-1/2" compartments has a hinged lid that not only snaps shut, it has an extra little security latch. Rounded bottoms in the compartments make it easy to pluck out even the smallest items.

No, no, not strongboxes -- Just tough, 17-gauge steel boxes for guys who keep breaking those woosy little plastic boxes when they close the toolbox lid…or step on them on the job site. These once held Rodman drill bits and a nibbler tool and they say so on the front. It has a removable foam inside and a removable plastic hanging loop at the top. Small one's 6-1/2" x 4-1/4" x 1" deep.

The Incredible Growing Handles
Better get these beauties before the staff takes them all home: telescoping extension handles (new ones) from the rolling-luggage industry, and we think they're the niftiest things since, well, rolling luggage. Attach them (along with wheels) to tool boxes, build your own rolling storage cases, create pull-out work spaces under desktops or workbenches. This dream handle has dual 1" wide x 3/4" rectangular black steel shafts, 4-1/2" apart, with a 2-draw telescope action and a push button in the handle. The shafts float in a steel bracket that allows the handle to be recessed into a case. This is saw-offable, however, so the handle could also be independently mounted on the outside of a surface. The handle extends 20" for an OA length of 33-1/2"

Quick-Set Sculpture Gloop
Call it FastMâché" -- the manufacturer does. This finely ground sculpting medium requires no paper. Just add water in a 2:1 powder-to-liquid ratio and start molding. It's quick drying (depending upon the thickness), adheres to any surface or armature, and the finished product can be sanded, drilled, carved, and painted with almost anything. (If Michelangelo had had this stuff, he could have retired in 1525.) Our each is a 28-ounce bag that will make a sculpture approx (1) square foot x 2-1/2" thick, or a whole bunch more a lot thinner. Made in the USA.

Forget watchmaking, you could write the "A Tale of Two Cities" on a piece of tortellini with this triple magnifier visor. Magnifies from 2.2X to 8X. Has a permanent 2.2X lens, a flip-down lens, and a flip-down loupe. Separate white LEDs at each temple, powered by (2) "AAA"s each which aren't included. The whole thing is in a black plastic visor, 7-3/4" wide x 5-1/4" deep with a flexible plastic strap held by a hook-and-loop closure. Opens to 9" max dia and has coated acrylic lenses.
