The manufacturer says he'll get "ginormous," which is just the way we like our grow-toy lizards. This sleepy-eyed rubbery guy starts out a modest 12" long, tail included, but a few days in a tub of water, pool, or large cooler gets you a three-foot, red, yellow, blue and green guy that we think looks just like the "graceful chameleon" (chameleo gracilis), except large enough to eat small Asian cities. Shrinks to a convenient pocket size when back on dry land (assuming you have large pockets and a lot of time).

is best done with the sacred mother of all novelty items, the original Whoopee Cushion. Marlon Brando owned one. Of course he did, they're both American classics, except the cushion was born in Toronto. Ours is the classic 8" version.

You understand why we had to buy this, right? A giant plastic human ear, a foot-and-half tall x almost a foot wide? We had no choice, really. And we think you don't either, because it's a GIANT PLASTIC EAR. It's made of thin plastic, like a 3" deep gelatin mold and, yes, of course you could make a huge gelatin dessert ear with it. Or hang it on a wall with a little tape or judicious ear piercing (no pun unintended) and some string, maybe cut out a space for the microphone on your front-door intercom and talk to the ear. Buy a bunch, sew them to a bed sheet and wear it as cape while you go around saying "I'm all ears." Grease the inside and make plaster of Paris ears to line your walls, tell people it's your listening room. Or just put it on the table, use the indentation to store your eye-Pod. Sadly, we have only left ears (the same one VanGogh cut off) but we've got an eye out for their mates.

Or "Spot, the Spider." We'll pick (10) tarantula/black widow types from our (4) styles, all approx 2-3/4" long in black rubber with yellow, green and/or orange UV-reactive spots on their little arachnoid legs, the better to find them in the dark.

Call it the jeepers, creepers special. A big sack of googly eyes, black pupils with white, well, whites. You get (80) 3/8" dia eyes, (60) 1/2" dia, and (16) 15/16" dia, all 3/16" thick. That's enough to make 78 wide-eyed creatures, or enough to keep an eye on 156 different things. Not self-adhesive, but we sell glue, too.
