Campers put these pads under their sleeping bags to insulate themselves thermally and ergonomically from the hard cruel ground. They call them "Insulite" which sounds like a brand name and they are military grade. We don't know if the items we have are seconds from that company or somewhere else, but we can't tell the difference. They are at least 20" x 60" and are 3/8" thick dense foam rubber. We have light blue, dark blue khaki/green and mauve/purple, from which we shall pick your purchase. One side is glossy with more closed pores than the other. We have used them, and they are great! Feather light too at only 20 oz. Good as light duty tumbling or exercise mats as well.

You can tell military budgets have been cut when Russia starts selling us her uniform buttons. Our bushels of buttons are 1/2" to 1", mostly metal (brass, copper, silver), mostly Russian (with some Canadian, French, and others), all interesting and collectable. The shiny brass buttons with the stars are nice, if you don't mind a hammer and sickle. We'll pick out (10) for you, but can't promise which ones.

Stop picturing a fat cable you can use to tie down an airplane. This is great 20–strand twisted cable from the aircraft industry, but at 1/16” dia, it’s sized more for a Chicago Cub than a Piper Cub. The cable is high–quality stainless steel, unjacketed and very strong. Use it to hang extremely heavy mirrors, make repairs, create bendable metal sculptures! Order in 15–foot or 100–foot hanks. Enjoy!

Our aluminum canisters with clear glass pull–off lids are cool. When a set of a dozen contains lavender, red and 10 other colors, it’s cool to the max. The smallest canisters are aluminum–colored, a set of (20) 1–1/4” dia x 3/4” deep in a 6–1/2” x 5–1/4” x 7/8” lightweight aluminum box with a hinged lid. When the box is shut, a layer of foam padding inside the lid presses down on the canisters, keeping them securely closed. An ideal carrying case for paints, many different screws, or other sets of small items or quantities that must remain separate. If you need slightly larger canisters, and a cardboard box will work instead of a carrying case, try our colorful display, anodized tins in great colors come in a set of (12) 2” dia x 7/8” deep. Prices are per set.

Riffler files are most prized by sculptors, wood carvers, model makers and similar fashioners of precision objects. They come in a variety of flat, round and triangular shapes. They are usually pointed and always have a delicate curve toward the point which makes them particularly useful for working in tight and curvy spots. We have a set of (10) in an attractive red plastic case. They are 3 x 180 mm size (about 7"), and were made in China for the King Manufacturing Co. Very nice quality at a very nice price. They can cost as much as $4.00-$5.00 apiece in regular outlets.

You know who you are. You’re the camera collector who has been paying exorbitant prices for obsolete flashbulbs, or you’re the (pardon the expression) junk collector who can’t bear to part with a camera that’s old, but perfectly good. We, on the other hand, are the guys who have those obsolete flashbulbs at an incredibly low price. Choose a GE 8–flash Flip Flash II cartridge for any FlipFlash camera, or a 12–flash pack of (3) GE Magicubes. We’ve priced them at a fraction of the going rate. Bright move, eh?

The best thing about trickle–charge solar panels is that they stop dimes and dollars from trickling into the coffers of the utility company. But these panels from Sun–Mate Corp also power the batteries for electric fences, water pumps, outdoor telephones, fans, TVs and other devices beyond the reach of your orange extension cord. All voltage ratings are no–load. The small 3–3/4” x 2–9/16” x 1/4” panel has (2) threaded posts with nuts, and produces 0.5 volts @ 1.0 amp. All are waterproof, weatherproof, corrosion–resistant, and built to last a lifetime.

Nifty device that takes maxi air and squeezes it down into a mini condition. The device is roughly 6-1/2"" long x 6" tall x 4" wide. It has a 10 ft. cord that plugs into an auto lighter socket: i.e. it runs on 12VDC @ 10 amps. Air output is via a 12" hose with a variety of valve adapters for tires, soccer balls, rubber rafts, and just dusting off the environment. Complete with a 0-250 psi gauge. Which should be plenty of pressure to explode a weak bike tire or flimsy beach ball, so please be careful!

A little pricey for a 2" x 2" x 1/8" thick piece of clear glass, until you figure that this is pretty darned talented glass, and that it filters heat and reflects infrared and ultraviolet rays. Then it's a bargain!
