Kowabonga! Magnets

Hard to separate, and then they keep jumping back together, on account of they have the strength of ten in their tiny bodies. This set is a 25-piece grouping of neodymium (rare earth) magnets, including a dozen 3/16" long x 3/16" dia brass-colored cylinders, a half-dozen 3/16" dia balls, and (7) 3/8" long x 3/16" square plated pieces. The largest have approx a pound and a half of pull, which is where the kowabonga! comes in. Includes a clear-plastic storage tube with rubber end caps.

Loaded with magnets, wires and a miscellany of other things (but no battery!) it has everything needed to perform over 30 experiments, build games and generally have hours and days of educational fun! The thirty page illustrated instruction/explanation booklet is complete for self- instruction. Ages 8 and up will have a ball!

Cylindrical Lift
A good alternative for when you need to fit a magnet into a little hole, like in a door closure. These neodymium magnets are 13/32" dia x 19/32" long, with approx 4 lbs of lift. Cute and useful. Sold in packages of (2) or for larger savings try the package of (20).

Light Duty Magnets/Desk Toys
These tiny alnico magnets are a mere 3/8" long x 1/8" dia cylinders, slightly larger than ice-cream jimmies, with approx 1/4-oz lift. They could hold sticky notes that have lost their sticky, and they hang on to each other end-to-end really nicely, so a bunch of them are fun to play with as a desktop toy, but they're really great for magnetic reed switches.
