Lo-Tech Clip Art
Before there was clip art, there were stencils. Will the art of stenciling survive the challenge of technology? It will if you help, my friend. These are sheets of thick paper with a number of complex and very cool stencils, including birds, fish, unicorns, flowers, dragons, a Happy Birthday logo, cars, and more. A total of (16) stencils (average size 2" x 3" ) come in an envelope; since it's just paper (albeit thick paper) and won't last forever, we'll send two sets.

Presentation Folder
Great for volunteer organizations that are long on awards but short on cash, this 9-1/2" x 11-1/2" white-vinyl folder makes presentations special. It's lightly padded for an elegant look, with a 3" x 4" clear vinyl window on the front for a name card or photo. Inside are (2) clear vinyl pockets for 8-1/2" x 11" awards or important documents. Pretty classy looking.

Chinese Rifflers
Riffler files are most prized by sculptors, wood carvers, model makers and similar fashioners of precision objects. They come in a variety of flat, round and triangular shapes. They are usually pointed and always have a delicate curve toward the point which makes them particularly useful for working in tight and curvy spots. We have a set of (10) in an attractive red plastic case. They are 3 x 180 mm size (about 7"), and were made in China for the King Manufacturing Co. Very nice quality at a very nice price. They can cost as much as $4.00-$5.00 apiece in regular outlets.

Whet Stones
Keep small knives and tools sharp. The sharpening stones in our 2–pc set include (1) large 6” x 13/16” x 3/8” and (1) slim 4” x 3/8” x 1/10”, both labeled 320 grit. The stones in our 3–pc set are all 4” long x 1/4” square. We know they have (3) different surfaces, but we haven’t a clue to their true grit.

It just ain't gonna spill the beads. Or the fishhooks, or screws, or whatever you're storing in the 7-1/2" x 5" x 1-1/2" deep Store-in-It box. The translucent-plastic box with (1) 3-1/2" x 1-1/4" and (10) 1-3/4" x 1-1/2" compartments has a hinged lid that not only snaps shut, it has an extra little security latch. Rounded bottoms in the compartments make it easy to pluck out even the smallest items.

That's what it says about these brushes on the package, and it's all true, assuming the E is silent. A set of (5) nylon artist's brushes, #s 1, 3, 5, 9 & 11, on wooden handles 11" to 13" long, all packed on top of an extremely thin 16" x 8" wooden palette. The price is nice. So are the brushes.

We Wuz Framed
And we did it ourselves with this little mat cutter and self-healing cutting mat. The dual-blade mat cutter has a comfy rubber handle and a removable bevel for clean 45° cuts. The blade adjusts to 9/16" deep and is 4-1/2" long OA, and replacement blades are standard stock in art supply stores. The hard rubber cutting mat is self-healing and no, we don't know how it does that. It's 11-3/4" x 8-3/4" x 1/8" thick, marked with 1/8" and 5mm increments and 1/2" squares, and lines for 45° and 60° cuts.
