Golden Touch
Anything it touches, it erases! If it only touches a pencil drawing. Pad is 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" x 1", filled with an erasing powder. Rub it over your drafting/pencil sketch/algebra exam and it'll erase for you. Also cleans grime off of your drawing surface before you begin. Superb for artists, draftsmen, and engineers.

Adapting to AC-Surplus Transformations
There is an entire class of transformers that surplus dealers call "AC Adapters." What we really mean is transformers that plug directly into the wall (primary voltage 110 VAC), and via a cord and/or plug provide various levels of output current at variou s voltages. It is a rare buyer of surplus that gets the plug configuration he/she wants, and many get snipped off (plugs that is). They are handy power supplies, battery charging units, substitutes for batteries in toys and games, or for providing safe il lumination to models and displays. Be sure to note whether the output is AC or DC (Direct Current, like a battery) and whether it can provide enough current for your application. Unless otherwise noted, all are suitable for indoor use only. Stick with us and you'll get the hang of adapting to AC...and at much lower prices than your friendly appliance/game/computer/calculator shop asks. Unless otherwise noted, all adapters are for 115 volt AC primaries, and all have about 6 ft. cords. (MA=Milliamp) (A=Ampere) (VDC= Volts DC) (VAC= Volts AC).

Soldering Gun in a Jar
Wire glue-the solution when you can't find the soldering iron, don't want to bother, are out in the woods, don't quite trust a fifth-grader with a hot gun, can't reach the connection with both hands, whatever. This stuff conducts low voltage AC and DC circuits in a permanent bond and is easy to use. Our high-tech support group suggests that a toothpick is a good way to apply it. Cures overnight. Our each is a 0.3 oz/9ml jar.

Small, Two-Way Thermometer
On a slightly convex aluminum plate, with small mounting holes top and bottom. Our glass alcohol thermometer measures between -30° and 230°F in 2° increments and between -30° and 110°C in 1° increments. The unit measures 6-1/2" x 1-1/16" with a 4-3/4" long element. Made for the laboratory, but nicely readable and able to hang on your wall without looking like part of a weather station.

Our tiny hygrometer/thermometer combo is made for greenhouses, wine cellars/fridges, and humidors, but works equally well for your bedroom, because you don't want to dry out either.
