Our (25) sheets of 8-1/2 x 11", 24-lb black paper translates to $15 a ream, which translates to bargain city. From Wausau Papers® and no, we don't know what the "Astronights" name is about. But we think it might have something to do with preteen girls drawing stars and initials on these sheets with white or neon-pastel gel pens.

Good Tweezers
This set of (6) tweezers is as useful as it looks daunting. The (6) stainless steel tweezers vary in size from 4-1/2" up to 7". Two of the tweezers have serated tips one is inverse, one has a slide latch and the others are straight flat tip. The set comes in a clear front plastic carrying case. From Henkel/Manco, the "Look for the Duck" tape people, this refillable 2-1/2" x 1-1/8" black-plastic tape dispenser comes with 400" of 1/2"-wide cellophane tape. The dispenser can be mounted multiple times on any clean, smooth surface, vertical or horizontal, via its clever base, which acts like self-adhesive tape but never seems to wear out. Microscopic suction cups, they say, and we believe them.

Try plastic tweezers. Joke. But you do need this pair of 5" long blue-plastic tweezers, with serrated jaws and 1/16" wide tips, for electronics applications (no fear of magnetization). They're safer for kids' crafts classes and school projects, too, and mighty affordable at less than 35 cents each.

And we did it ourselves with this little mat cutter and self-healing cutting mat. The dual-blade mat cutter has a comfy rubber handle and a removable bevel for clean 45° cuts. The blade adjusts to 9/16" deep and is 4-1/2" long OA, and replacement blades are standard stock in art supply stores. The hard rubber cutting mat is self-healing and no, we don't know how it does that. It's 11-3/4" x 8-3/4" x 1/8" thick, marked with 1/8" and 5mm increments and 1/2" squares, and lines for 45° and 60° cuts.
