Mom's Box - Or Not
If you like bowls that say "Pretzels" and address books that say "Addresses," you'll love this 4" x 2-1/2" x 1-5/16" black-plastic box the says "MOM'S JEWELRY BOX" on it in white. It has a mirror on the inside of the hinged lid, a cheesy red liner, and a light-activated music box that plays a snatch of Beethoven - after you find the little electronic device under the removable lining and put in a couple of watch batteries (not included). If you're not into labeling, Mom can be rubbed out with a little denatured alcohol (along with any other letters you choose). Lift out the music module, and you're left with a snazzy black box you can use for storing any number of small items. And you thought it was going to be tacky!

That Would Be "Martian"
You've found perfect tires for your model of an LEV-SFC (that would be Lunar Exploration Vehicle, Stable Foot Class). StableFeet" are groovy blue plastic tubes, closed (except for a small hole) at one end. They're 3-1/4" long, and are made to fit over a standard 1-1/8" steel tube, like, say, the T-legs of an ironing board. If you don't use the striated rubber extenders to stabilize an ironing board or dress up tricycle handlebars, though, you'll have more left for your MEV-SFC. Our each is a package of (4).

Yellow Strapping
Only a mother could love some inventions. And Pat. Pat loves this one because the (2) 64" x 3/4" yellow woven-nylon straps, each with an additional 4" of elastic at one end and an old-fashioned garter buckle at each end, are great for all the usual strapping applications, plus a few more. They were designed to keep sheets from shifting. The hilarious 6-step instructions start with "Attach the head end of the bottom sheet to the foot end of the top sheet...." Sacre Bleu! This wonderful glass container from Canada has (5) different salad dressing recipes printed tastefully on it - in French. Figure out the ingredients, fill to the oil and vinegar levels indicated, and mix right in the bottle. It's 7" x 2-7/16" dia, has a slight pouring lip, and holds up to 10 oz. It will take a #9 rubber stopper or #22 cork - or seal the 1-1/2" ID mouth with your palm as you shake it. Very earthy. Very chic.

Large Rock Polishing Kit

Budding lapidarians will lap up this rock polishing kit which is so complete it even contains some rocks. The polishing tumbler has a (3) lb. ((1) qt.) fifteen sided rubber barrel and is driven by a 115 VAC motor. Overall dimensions are 6" x 6" x 7-1/2" high. In addition to the tumbler, the kit includes an assortment of jewelry findings and a detailed manual giving you easy to follow instructions. But don't think of it only as useful for jewelry making. As a hobby, our Uncle George for many years collected and polished a wide variety of rocks which he found interesting and made beautiful in and of themselves.

Okay, it isn't the cheapest magnet in the warehouse - but we dragged John's 165 lb filing cabinet around the dock with this 4-7/8" x 1" x 3/4" ceramic magnet, we're rating it conservatively at 100 lbs of pull, and we think it's a bargain. It has a 6" bracket with mounting holes on 5-1/2" centers, plus a 1/2" ID eyehook bolted into the center of it. It's all set to troll the bottom of the lake next time your filing cabinet falls overboard.

These 3/4” thick wooden bases are perfect dome–holders. The 5” dia dark–brown base is formed from pressed wood chips, but it has a decent finish, and you wooden want to pass it up just because it had a flakey childhood. Its 5/16” wide groove will hold a 3–1/2” ID dome, and it has (3) flat rubber discs on the bottom to protect your furniture tops.

Dandiest Donut in the Domain
Donut magnet you can take to town!! 74mm dia x 14mm thick with a 30mm hole. Very strong and well pedigreed - in fact, its kin are activating pacemakers. They are of a high permeability ferrite material with a lovely light blue or white epoxy coating. Okay, we have them because there is the odd bubble, slight scratches or the word MAGNET painted in the coating which ruled them out of the medical ball, but they're fine company nonetheless. Good display bases, paper clip traps, and super for classroom demos.

Four Funnels
Four fine funnels, a fantastic fare. Sturdy plastic, the biggest is 4-1/8" dia at the mouth, with a 1/2" dia spout, the smallest has a 1-7/8" dia mouth, 1/4" spout. The other (2) are in between. Frankly, it's freaky fun flowing fluids from four funnels!

A Few Good Dowels
A good dowel is always a good buy, and we’ve got some good dowels at great prices! These wood dowels come a variety of Asian hardwoods including Sesendok, Geronggang and Yellow Merantis. They are a very nice blonde color and moderately heavy. The dowels are strong, stainable, and warp–resistant. All are 12” long; a package is (22) 1/8” dia dowels, (10) 1/4” dia, (5) 1/2” dowels.
