Needle, Needle, Needle
Whole lotta needling going on. Stock up with either of our specials. The #6 packs have a dozen sewing needles of that size (just over 1-1/2” long). The assorted packs are (4) needles each: (2) #7s at 1-1/4” and 1-1/2” long; a #5 at 1-11/16” long; and a #3 at 2-1/8” long.

Magic Rocks
Geology for those with short attention spans? The original Magic Rocks®, of course! Mix the solution in a jar of water, drop in the pebbles, and watch them grow into a forest of multi-color stalagmites. Growth starts in 10 minutes, is impressive in 30 minutes, and complete (up to 4" tall) in 2 hours. Extra credit if you can make it grow stalactites by gluing the pebbles to the bottom of a jar, then pouring the solution in and turning it upside down. Who knows? Maybe it will work. Comes with a set of marine decals to decorate the jar. Definitely not for use with living fish. For ages 10 and up.

Cut Right To It
This all-purpose scissors is the favorite of everyone at A.S.&S.: Pat uses his to cut and strip wire. C.J. uses his to slit the tape on packages. Mary Ann uses hers to open bags of pretzels. It's 6-1/4" long overall, with a very sharp 2" stainless steel blade and large, comfortable handles. It would sell for $9.95 retail if it was new, but it was used for one day to cut cloth in the assembly plant of a major car company, then discarded. Quality control is a wonderful thing.

Assorted Beads
Glass beads, German, 0.055" diameter, the kind you glue on to for a sparkly finish. These do not have holes in them. Craft stores sell tubes of these beads for $4.00 per tube or about $3.35 per oz. Ours come in little baggies, but you only have to pay $.875 per oz. And you don't have to choose a color, because we're sending you (10) 1 ounce packages, which will include clear plus at least six (6) different colors from a selection of orange, yellow, aqua, green, blue, bright blue, lavender, pink, fuchsia and black.

They call it the IQ Clip, because it remembers better than you do. It's a thin little electronic LCD clock and alarm with a clip (to hook it on a file, belt or pocket) and a magnetic back (to stick it to a file cabinet or kitchen appliance). It has a 15-minute resolution and can be set for any time up to 99 days in the future. The same-day alarm will give you four reminders; the future-date alarm will warn you every 15 minutes for up to 24 hours in advance. It's like your mother, but with a snooze button.
