We Wuz Framed
And we did it ourselves with this little mat cutter and self-healing cutting mat. The dual-blade mat cutter has a comfy rubber handle and a removable bevel for clean 45° cuts. The blade adjusts to 9/16" deep and is 4-1/2" long OA, and replacement blades are standard stock in art supply stores. The hard rubber cutting mat is self-healing and no, we don't know how it does that. It's 11-3/4" x 8-3/4" x 1/8" thick, marked with 1/8" and 5mm increments and 1/2" squares, and lines for 45° and 60° cuts.

Belgian Army Thermos®
Authentic WWII issue from the Belgian army. The black-painted steel housing might be pretty beat up, or even dented (you know those wacky Belgians) but the insides are genuine Thermos® brand with a Pyrex® class liner that's still perfect, because Pyrex® is tough stuff, and clean, because it's glass. It's 10" tall x 4-7/8" dia with a big 3-1/2" ID mouth. Wire and wood or all wire handle, screw-on 1-7/8"-deep tin-cup top, and a big cork stopper inside. The outside has instructions in Dutch (or maybe Flemish?) and French, which add to the charm. You can relax, however, because they're just instructions on how to use a Thermos® bottle, which we're pretty sure you've already mastered.

Maxi-Cool Multi-Tool
When is a Swiss Army knife not a Swiss Army knife? When it's a very, very cool wallet-sized card. This clever little artist's brush holder/cleaner will keep those oil or watercolor brushes standing up (or down) straight with their little heads under water or paint thinner, clean and un-bent until you need them. A 4" dia x 2" deep aluminum cup is topped by a 6" tall U-shaped handle with a brush-holding spring across the top. Inside the cup is a mesh screen (with its own handle) for to clean the paint off and let it settle to the bottom, away from the bristles. The handle is removable for storage or travel.
