To Dye For
Actually, to dye with. Top quality highly concentrated fabric dyes from Putnam Dye Co. (Since 1876!!) The fadeless dyes come in individual packets with enough for about 1 pound of dry material. And they work on a very wide range of natural and synthetic fabrics. We have a rainbow of colors from which we will pick (3) different ones for your order. They come with instructions.

Real Corks!!
We have obtained a large number of real natural corks, mostly surplus with a few fill-ins bought commercially. They range across the popular sizes used in science labs to seal vessels (drill your own holes for glass tubing, etc) and to use as floats. Or just use them to seal bottles that don't have closures or cry out for a decorative seal.

BOTTLEMANIA
Zillions of little bottles. Renegades from a pharmaceutical company, leftover unfilled from runs of exotic we-know-not-what. We have divided them into three basic shapes: A, Narrow Mouth, h (Narr Mo) have a 10mm dia. x 4mm long neck on top of a squarish shoulder, a 13mm dia. 3mm rim and a 7mm dia. opening; B, Wide Mouth, (Wide Mo) have a 16mm dia. x 4mm long neck on top of a squarish shoulder, a 19mm dia. x 3mm rim and a 12 or 13mm dia opening; C, Sloped Shoulder, (Sl Sh) have roughly 5-6mm long neck that tapers from the soft shoulder to 15mm dia, with a 19mm dia x 3mm rim and a 12-13mm dia. opening. Height refers to height overall, and dia. to the body dia. in the table below. Great items for the doll house (for kids old enough not to swallow them), to hold tiny wild flowers, for decorative art work, individual cruets, or just to hold and marvel at. All quite sturdy glass. In the real world, you would pay from $75 (smallest) to $225 (biggest) for 288 of these, which is the smallest quantity you could get!! Narrow mouth bottles take a #00 cork. (Our part number 88746) Wide mouth and sloped shoulder bottles take a #3 cork. (Our item number 88748)

Victorian Dropper
It looks as though it should be used for administering laudanum! A 30mL, 1-1/4" sq x 3" tall clear glass bottle, it has thick molded sides and a heavy lip: very antique in appearance. It is stoppered with a red(!) rubber stopper which is the squeeze bulb for the glass dropper tube inside. A real eye catcher, but give it a good wash please. It clearly is not sterile.

Artist's Brushes
Maybe a little eclectic for an artist with a single style, but perfect for one who's still searching for himself. Or for any hobbyist. There are no (2) brushes exactly alike in this set of (15). They all have natural bristles, color-coded wooden handles and metal ferrules, but they range from fairly fine to 1/2" wide, and 7" to 10" long. There are at least (3) different kinds of bristles, and they are round, blunt and pointed. A nice variety, and a very nice quality for this price.

Trying to cut back on hobby expenditures? This incredibly priced utility knife set is x-actly what you need. Standard interchangeable blades and holders, the largest of which has an easy-grip, screwdriver-type handle. Everything is lined up in a fitted plastic box with extra blades magnetically anchored. The 13–piece set has (3) holders, plus assorted blades. The 48–piece set has (7) holders, a wide assortment of blades, (1) tube of glue, and (1) sharpening stone. Very nicely priced. Very sharp.

Barbershop Bottle
It's a smaller version of those hair tonic bottles of yore that barbers kept to splash witch hazel on gents' necks. Clear glass, approx 6 oz/175 ml, stands 6-7/8" tall x 2-1/8" dia at the bottom, with a 1" dia neck, 3/4" ID. Comes with a cork, although it will also accept a screwcap.

Butterflies Aren't Free
Don't believe everything you hear in the movies: butterflies aren't free. They are, however, dirt cheap, at least in the craft version. You pick from our selection of colorful fabric and paper butterflies. You get (3) packs in all cases. The large, 4-1/2" wingspread flutterers come in packs of (2); the medium, 3-1/2" in packs of (3); the small, 2-1/2" in packs of (4). Assorted colors, pretty as the real thing, and much easier to pin down.
