Robotic Waddler

The Brits who made this robotic duckette won "The Queen's Anniversary Award" for their work, which is why it's always good to have a queen. This little duckbot is 3-1/2" tall x 4" dia and needs a pair of "AA" batteries but no other food. Has an extremely endearing waddle on just its (2) little yellow "feets," as the packaging calls them. Barring your imagination, those feets are the only parts it has that look like duck parts, but we've gone just quackers for it anyway! For ages 9 and up.

This wacky, colorful "Pop-Up Parachute" has a dozen different panels, a central tube that flies up in the air with rainbow streamers attached, and (12) handles for little kiddles to hang onto and flap up and down. Resembles a giant squid crossed with a clown's umbrella, and could also be used as a very odd rain poncho. It was made to be a check sorter, but it told us it doesn't care what you carry or sort in it. The dark blue plastic accordion folio is 10-3/8" x 5-1/8" x 1" thick when empty. Has a flap with a loop-and-button closure, (13) clear plastic inside pockets, and color-coded labels to insert into the pocket tabs. Don't sort your checks? Works even better as a coupon, receipt, travel/ticket organizer.

Wider than some ducts, in fact. For really big fixes, this is the "Big Fix Duct Tape" from Nashua® Tape. You get a 15-foot roll of 12" wide tape in the classic silver color. You cut it to size and shape for custom repairs to plumbing, HVAC, sporting goods, furniture, doors, windows, tarps, and car and truck bodies, for starters. Make cuts on the side with the paper liner. (The liner's also there to keep it from sticking to itself and making you look like you're in an I Love Lucy episode when you apply it.)
