German Decontamination Kit
New surplus from the other side of the Rhine. Nice dark-olive-drab plastic case, 8-1/2" x 8" x 4-1/2" with a slip-on lid on a removable canvas strap. Inside is a pair of 1-liter bottles, 7" tall x 3-1/2" square, with screw caps that have white nylon brushes on 4" long shafts inside. If you're not into military decontamination, it's ideal for traveling sign-painters.

It's a good game when the concept lasts through several names, and several generations, and gets even better in the 21st century! Your parents, grandparents, and maybe great-grandparents played a version of the Space Voyagers® Space Travel SpinDoodles. They'd recognize the toothed 2-1/4" dia window and the 6 different perforated gears to create hundreds of symmetrical designs. Light My Fire
C'mon baby, light someone's fire with this magnesium and flint fire-starter kit. The 3" steel hack-saw-type blade and a 3-1/8" x 3/8" x 1-1/8" hunk of magnesium, with a rod of flint embedded in one long side, are on a keychain for carrying but are easily removed from it. With the serrated edge of the blade, shave some Mg into a small pile of tinder. Strike the flint with the opposite edge to spark the tinder-Mg's interest, and you're Prometheus.

An Arachnid As Big As A Pizza
A medium pepperoni. Our giant tarantula has a legspan of approx 17", a body about 7" long, painted details, and nice red accents on the dangerous parts. Which is sort of cute until you learn that there are real tarantulas this big. Don't think about it. Just buy this giant spider and put it on top of your pizza to keep your sister from eating it. It's rubber, so the grease will wipe right off.

Pen-Light, Or Pen, Or Light
It's a three-fer. You get an almost-5" long ballpoint pen with a pocket clip and a 2-3/4" gooseneck LED lamp on the top. Take them apart (Watch out! Don't drop the little spring!) and screw them onto the included key rings (Another spring!) and you have both a pen key ring and a lighted key ring. The light runs on (4) included button-cell batteries. Key rings can also be screwed together, for still another configuration. In brushed aluminum with a matching case.

DIY Piñata

Half the party's in the prep! Plan your menu, bake the cake, and build your own dinosaur or pig piñata! Each kit comes with balloons to use as a frame, cardboard pattern pieces, colored tissue paper, stickers, some shredded filler paper, white glue, paints, a brush, and a cord to hang the piñata with. You provide the goodies to fill it, but the green dinosaur has (3) small rubber dinosaurs and the pink pig has (3) little rubber pigs for a bit of added fun. Finished piñata should be about 2 feet long. For kids eight and up with some adult help, or a little younger with mucho adult help.
