Ration the tube and save young minds with The Time Machine, a clever device that locks out the TV cable signal (and DVD or game console) and lets them buy 30 minutes of time per coin. You get 30 reusable special coins to dole out to the deserving, and you can set times within which the signal is rationed (10 a.m. to 9 p.m., or whenever). The cables are locked within the housing, which opens with a PIN, to foil those electronically savvy kids. The box measures 8" x 4-3/4" x 2-7/8".

Didn't she make movies with Andy Warhol? Never mind -- this one is a very nice 10X illuminated UV jeweler's loupe in teardrop housing with a small loop for a chain. Measures 1-3/4" x 1" x 1" with a pair of UV LEDs and a power switch. Two button-cell batteries are included, along with a tiny wrench to open the housing to replace them. The approx 5/8" dia hole is in the black-plastic screw cap that gives this clear glass cylinder a finished look. Use it to make anything stand up now-flower buds, thin candles, whatever. Assorted sizes measure approx 4" tall x 1" dia, with a 1-7/8" hexagonal base and a subtle 1-1/4" x 13/16" ground patch you can write on. (Maybe "Rosebud," if that's what it's holding!)

This big, thick glass candle-keeper weighs a nearly untippable (2) pounds. Stands 3-3/8" tall x 4-3/16" dia with 1/2” thick walls, and a 2-1/2” deep x 2-3/8” dia interior. Available in (3) different colors. Deep sea-blue, redish-orange and light green with a grit-ified, pebbly exterior finish. Flat, polished ovals on two sides also let it stand at a nearly vertical angle, mimicking a mini-grotto on table top or aquarium bottom. It casts a lovely cerulean glow as light passes through it. These Diodes Emit Light
It's their job. In fact, Emit is their middle name. Our lonesome, super-bright white ½ height LEDs are 5mm dia, rated at 10,000 MCD, and draw approx 30mA at 3.5VDC. Go build something bright.

Nice Pot 'N Top
Jarvis thinks this clear-plastic container, with its snap-on gasketed lid, is potpourri pluperfect. Holds approx 10 oz and measures 3-3/4" tall x 3-7/8" dia at its widest (2-1/2" dia at the bottom). The mouth is 2-1/2" ID and the lid is tinted slightly gray. Quite nice for any number of uses, including mini terrariums or the aforementioned potpourri.
