Backless Wall Box

Made for Ma Bell, this was a protective box for a phone connection, in heavy-duty dark-gray plastic with a hinged door. It's backless and bottomless, measures 5-5/8" tall x 5-1/4" wide x 3-3/4" deep. A handy sort of person could use it to cover an outdoor outlet or phone jack, or anything else outside. The open back has a top lip and 1/16" grooves on the sides for sliding over a back panel of your clever devising.
