Prince Plastic
Sure, when it comes to optical precision, glass is king. But in other categories (price!), plastic is definitely heir to the throne. If you're not looking for precision, but just for some funky lenses for your art project, model or for messing around with light, these 20mm dia PCV lenses will work royally. 6.6mm thick, clear plastic with a -60mm focal length. With (2) 1/8" dia mounting nubs on the side, they should file right off if you don't like them. So let the bluebloods waste their bread on glass, you've got plastic.
