Occasionally we in the surplus business end up with something slightly outside our usual pro-vender. These two audio kits with advice on raising kids are cases in point. Each has (4) cassettes and a "work book". Each is by learned experts in the field: Lendon Smith, M.D. and Dr. Curt Shreiner for the age 1-6 guide: Straight Talk on Raising Young Children; Drs. Douglas Powell and Curt Shreiner for the older age guide: Straight Talk on Raising Kids. Try using the tapes while you drive to and from work and hitting the work book after the kids are tucked up. The advice seems pretty straight forward. The problem as originally offered was the price: a whopping $49.95/each!!
