Bumpy Box
This is a really heavy-gauge clear-plastic box 14-5/8" x 7-1/2" x 4-3/4" deep. Picture a large shoe box. The top and bottom are each about 2-1/2" deep, and overlap by 1/4" or so halfway up the sides. They're flat on the outside so the boxes can be stacked, or the (2) pieces separated and used as (2) deep trays. Why, you ask, do we have such a sterling item? Perhaps because it was originally made to be an organizer for 4" high cones of thread, so there are (3) rows of (6) "cups" 1-5/16" dia x 3/8" deep permanently set on the floor of the box, and matching smaller cups 5/8" dia x 3/8" deep on the inside of the top. You can take advantage of the cups to store cones of thread or anything else that size upright, or hold items off of the floor of the box while they drain - or you can ignore them and appreciate the box for its strength and beauty!
