What do you get when you take several slabs of a firm foam in vivid colors, die-cut them so that hundreds of strangely shaped pieces can be punched from them, and pack them with a page of methodical, if unbelievably detailed, directions? You get a meticulously constructed vehicle, somewhere between a toy and a soft sculpture, that required no glue or paint. You get a primarily red and black fire engine with a 9" long frame, or a power shovel of mostly primary colors with 7-1/2" treads. You also get a great project for long solitary evenings -- or a LOT of adult/child bonding. Special kits for very special people.
