Find Your Drink in a Flash

These are LED-enhanced translucent- and white-plastic drink coasters. Neither needs a switch, because your drink turns them on. The small one is 3/8” thick x 3-1/2” dia with six red LEDs that flash in a circular pattern around the perimeter. Comes with (2) replaceable L1131 button cell batteries. Ignore the instructions on the bag--we think these used to be part of a name tag for meetings much too festive for us. The larger one is 1/4” thick x 4” dia and needs a dark room to show its stuff—a couple of red LEDs alternately fade in and out, flash, and impart a faint red glow to the bubble-filled perimeter. Comes with a replaceable CR2016 lithium battery. We don’t party all that much around here, so we just use ours to stick notes in an empty coffee cup—sort of a “message waiting” light for the people who won’t check their voice mail.
